Our old friend Patrick McGoey came in on December 6 for a quick day of fishing on the Explorer.
The fish were lined up and hungry with stacked of Dorados finding their way to the fishbox.

The Explorer put in work on December 5 with clients Laura and Michael Price scoring some excellent filets for the dinner table.
The rods were bending all day. Here’s what Laura wrote on Facebook: “My husband and I went out today on the Explorer. We had an AMAZING time!!! We ended the day with 6 Mahi Mahi caught with 1 Mahi Mahi, 1 tuna and 1 marlin getting away. Phenomenal crew! We loved every minute of it!”

Captain Fico and Mate Elias continued their strong fishing into late November, delivering the goods for clients Wayne Estes and Mauri Elledge.
This Rooster Fish release is a true bucket list-worthy monster.
They also brought the kids out for a family trip to the fish market. Great work ninos!

The Explorer hit it big with several Dorados on ice for client Pete Burcop.
The boys performed brilliantly on this five hour trip and have lots of filets to show for their effort.

Russell Thorsheim was on a roll in mid-November…things went so well for him on the big boats with Sailfish and Dorados that he added a quick afternoon jaunt on the Explorer for some inshore fun.
This monster Rooster Fish may be the fish of the week for Mr. Thorsheim. For the filet bag they added a nice Amberjack.
