John Franco caught the biggest Wahoo in team history on February 5 with Captain Antonio and Mate Raffa on the Explorer.
Weighing in somewhere over 80lbs., this is the pinnacle of the recent rush of Wahoos into our area.
They didn’t stop catching, as they added multiple nice Dorados for the filet bag.
Theย Explorer welcomed angler Jerreme Wilburn for a great day offshore.
This Sailfish release was backed-up with a tasty Dorado for the dinner table.
The Explorer welcomed Jacksonville angler Mike Roops for a world-class Roosterfish release.
Team Van Den Bogert finished up their Nosara trip with another productive day on theย Explorer. Check out this sweet Sailfish action from the 29th.
They also stocked up for the end-of-week dinner with these excellent Dorados.
On January 28, theย Explorer welcomed angler Scott Abrams for a memorable trip. Check out his awesome Rooster Fish release:

The Van Den Bogert group has returned for another bluewater campaign, and on the 24th they scored several super Sailfish releases:
Will Farish’s group were with the Harvester on January 22. These Texas anglers scored dinner with a stack of Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado filets.
Captain Antonio and Mate Raffa delivered the goods for the Heuberger group. A sweet Sailfish release was augmented with several Yellowfin Tunas.
On January 21, the Explorer welcomed back Jens Stuerup and Jette Loeje. They improved on their first day’s scorecard with multiple Sailfish releases.
For the dinner table they scored a big Cierro Mackerel.
