Jason Sandmaier and his son performed beautifully on the Adventurer on the 21st, so much so that two days later they brought the ladies along for a day with Captain Carlos on the Explorer.
The super panga delivered the goods with five Sailfish released throughout the trip.
Excellent fish-handling by Mate Kevin to see all these fish safely released.

Captain Carlos is scoring big on the Explorer, and on June 12 he took a trio of young anglers for a ride to Sailfish City.
These releases are all excellent accomplishments for these youngsters.
Mike Burling and his crew of legendary Fernandina Beach anglers have put a whopping on a lot of billfish in Nosara over the years, and they added to their legacy with a huge day of Sailfish releases on the Explorer.
They started the day with this sweet Double Sailfish release.

The crew picked off Sailfish one at a time for the rest of the day, scoring four more releases.
Mark Perdue joined the barroom brawler for two full days of fishing and they scored big with Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin.
Client Leonard Robinson of Utah joined the Explorer for his second time offshore on May 31 and scored a sweet Sailfish release. Safe released as always by Mate Kevin.
They also scored a handful of Yellowfin Tuna which yielded tasty dense filets.
Later on the beach they discovered a wayward handline rig; this staple of Costa Rican shore fishing is devestaingly simple and features a modern twist with a DOA Jighead.
“I had the experience of a lifetime thanks to the crew of the Explorer.” Leonard wrote in an email. “I will be a return customer!!! Pura Vida.”
The brother combo of Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin makes fishing on the Explorer a family affair, so what better place to bring the kids for an introduction to blue water fishing.
Decked out in her new FishingNosara hat, this little angler scored a big Sailfish with the super panga.
They released a few more Sails throughout this very memorable day on the water.
Client Tony King rolled into town and fished his very first afternoon on board the barroom brawler, and sure enough he picked a fight with the biggest mofo in the place!

Clearly Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin are dialed-in and their amazing scorecards are proving the point.
