The Harvester posted an amazing day on February 8 with Phillip Lommen and Ron Sever each reporting tons of Sailfish releases.

These boys didn’t go home empty-handed; they also piled the fishbox high with lots of excellent Dorados.

John MacDonald signed up for a 5 hour half day on the 7th, and despite the shortened trip Captain Alex still scored a nice array of catches.

After an excellent Sailfish release, John’s group loaded up on Dorado and Yellowfin Tunas.

Just imagine if they had gone out for a full day…still great work by the mega panga.
Alex Stark took his party to the Harvester on February 5th, and this group nagged a sweet Sailfish release and a bunch of Dorados.

Too bad this was just a 5 hour trip…the fish were chewing the bottom out of the boat and the mega panga had to leave the bite in order to make it back to shore on time.

Phil Lommen and Ron Sever stayed inshore with Captain Alex on the 4th, and they kept the rods bent with these elusive Pargo Roqueros.

Wanna skip Sea World? Check out this pod of Orca playing around with 32 foot Harvester. You never know what you’ll see offshore of Nosara…Great to see these beauties in the wild.
After this fun nature sighting, the Harvester got down to business with Craig Sutton and Rodger Dwork reporting excellent fishing results.

These Dorados are a treat, but nothing compared to these big swole Yellowfin Tunas:

Great work by Captain Alex and the Mega Panga.

Captain Alex finished up the month with Diana Foster’s group on the 30th, and the mega panga reporting an excellent Sailfish release backed up with lots of nice Dorados.

Fresh on the heels of the Sailfish release came wave after wave of Dorados.

Awesome job by Captain Alex and the famous Harvester.

Becky Hogan’s group kept up the hot fishing action on January 18 with Captain Alex. This fun-loving group of Florida anglers scored big on Dorados.

Becky nabbed this monster late in the trip.

Mary Jane Shanklin was back in action on the 15th, and this time they added to their Dorado scored from early in the week with this excellent Striped Marlin release.

They also scored big on Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas.

Amazing work by the mega panga!
Captain Alex was deep in the battle on January 14 as client Kevin Poindexter threw down with an sweet Blue Marlin.

Mate Kevin estimated this beast at a little over 300lbs. Safe released alive and kicking as usual.

The big Marlin was the headliner, but it was supported by this excellent Sailfish release.

This high-flyer put on a nice show with lots of above-the-water action.

They finally outlasted this Sailfish, and brought home lots of nice photos of the fight.

This group rounded out their day with a nice Dorado and a sweet Yellowfin Tuna. Good thing, because it’s easy to work up a big appetite when catching all day long!

The Harvester welcomed FishingNosara Hall of Famer and Northeast FishingNosara Representative Mark Cooney for an excellent day of catching on the 12th.
BIG Yellowfin Tunas put the mega panga (and her tackle) to the test. Look at this rod-snapping catch:

The Harvester‘s “Never Surrender” attitude was on display at this 40+lbs. Yellowfin managed to break a rod, but not break the mega panga’s spirit.

Later in the day the fish got bigger for Team Cooney.

With tons of Yellowfin Tuna on ice, the ocean changed it up and provided lovely Dorado scores.

Fantastic work by Captain Alex and the Harvester!
