Robert and Inez Higginbotham joined our old pal Jay Thompson for a morning half day on the Discoverer on May 20.
Captain Carlos delivered the goods with some whopping Yellowfin Tunas!
Captain William continued to follow the spinning pods of porpoises offshore, and once again engaged with big Yellowfin Tunas.
These are the perfect sized Yellowfins…any bigger than this and the filets lose their density.
These tasty treats are a very good sign as we progress into our second season.
Jay Thompson is one of our best clients and has fished on the Wanderer since we first put her in the water seven years ago.
After a nice early Sailfish release, these Florida anglers scored a bunch of big Dorados for the fishbox.

Our old buddy Jay Thompson returned for another crack at the inshore reefs and he scored a nice trio of big Snappers.
Captain Fico always finds the fish for his clients.
Our old pal Jay Thompson has been fishing on the Explorer since the inception of Super panga fishing, but on March 13 he let his visiting brother-in-law handle the fish catching duties. Captain Carlos took the Explorer offshore and found an amazing Sailfish.
Mate Fico had no problem handling this beast.
Later they added this small Broomtail Grouper to the fishbox. Excellent filets to go with the trophy release.
Our great friend Jay Thompson brought his wife and kids down to Nosara for a little fishing and relaxation. Check out this excellent catch from a sunset cruise on the Explorer:
