Fantastic day by the mega panga Harvester with client Greg Henry reporting a wide variety of great catches. The early strikes were these nice-sized Yellowfun Tuna. and big Dorados:

Very strong fighters (see the broken rod) and great tasting filets!

Then they released two strong Pacific Sailfish:

They topped off the day with this beautiful Blue Marlin!

Great work by Captain Alex and the Harvester.

“Did battle with a huge marlin today for almost an hour before he broke off,” writes Robbie Parks in an email. “It made three greyhound runs for all of us to see.”

“Mate Juan Carlos said it was the biggest one he’d ever fought. Estimated at 900+ pounds.”

“It was a beast. Leviathan from the deep. Really whipped me. Captain Carlos and Juan Carlos were fantastic. The experience of a lifetime for me.”

Nathan Sylvester and his boys scored with the Wanderer reporting a Double Marlin release backed-up by several Sailfish releases:

The simultaneous Marlin hook-up is a whirlwind of action for even the most experienced anglers, but these youngsters handled it like old pros.

Fifteen minutes after the first release came the second; this mystery Marlin is either a small Blue Marlin, a large Striped Marlin, or the rare Hatchet Marlin.

They also scored a pair of Sailfish later in the trip, rounding out a truly memorable day of fishing.
