Ken Russell’s group includes longtime FishingNosara anglers Misti Nolan and Pat Cowell, and they nabbed an excellent Rooster fish release with Captain William on March 24.

The Harvester welcomed Alexander Dauwe for a great day of inshore action on the 5th, punctuated by a big Cubera Snapper catch and a nice Rooster Fish release.





The meat fish is great of course, but this trophy fish Rooster release is the angling accomplishment of a lifetime.








Chris Armstrong and Brent Etlinger had a great time inshore with Captain William, headed up by this Rooster Fish release.


They kept the rods bent all day with variety of other reef dwellers on ice.





Harry Adams pulled a beautiful haul with solid inshore action on the morning of the 28th.



After this a huge Broomtail Grouper, theĀ Explorer backed it up with a nice Rooster fish release.


Later in the week theĀ Explorer welcomed Bill Laurie. They headed offshore and pulled off a nice Sailfish release.


Team Bonifay followed up their offshore success with an very memorable inshore score on the 17th.

After three full days of fishing, angler Chuck Hanford saved the best for last with a MAMMOTH Rooster Fish release on his final day of action.



This monster is a legit 60lbs., proven by Captain Alex’s boca grip.

We catch and release these beauties year-round, but they seem to be especially aggressive this time of year.



The battleship Discoverer went on a two-way mission on February 3. Early in the trip they headed offshore to do battle with a pair of lovely Sailfish.


After the safe releases, Captain Carlos headed inshore for a super Rooster Fish release.


Mark Cooney and George Pile ended the month with Captain Fico, and they scored two fish-of-a-lifetime…first up was this Striped Marlin:
