The Alson crew finished up their week of fishing in Costa Rica with a very productive inshore romp. This BIG Congrio is the best tasting fish on the reef and will make their end-of-trip dinner a real treat.
The also added a final Rooster Fish release to their impressive haul of catch-and-release trophies.

The Alfred Alson group continued to post excellent results on their early-rainy season trip. Check our this beautiful Rooster Fish release on theย Discoverer from September 10.
Alfred Alson’s group took to theย Discoverer on August 8 and scored a nice Sailfish release offshore and a nice Rooster Fish release inshore.
Ryan Lampasona joined theย Harvester for a quick 5 hour trip on August 6 and they nabbed two amazing Rooster Fish releases.
The big one was a real whopper, but the second release was no slouch.
European angler Stephan Badstieber scored the fish of a lifetime with theย Explorer on August 4. Check out this MONSTER Rooster Fish release:
“Thanks a lot for the great fishing day with Antonio and Raffa on the Explorer,” wrote Stephan in an email. “We are excited for what will happens the next few days. Today I caught the fish I was dreaming of for the last three years!”
In addition to the Rooster fish release, they added a nice Amberjack for the dinner table. Yummy!
Tom Berry scored a pair of excellent trophy fish releases on July 20.
Theย Wanderer reports an excellent Rooster Fish release backed-up by a feisty Sailfish release.
Theย Harvester and Ryan Bellabona checked off a bucket-list item with this wonderful Rooster Fish release.
They didn’t go home empty-handed; the boys also added Dorado and Yellowfin Tunas.
Captain Antonio filled the trophy case on April 23 with a pair of wonderful releases for angler Quinten Whitmire.
This monster Rooster Fish release and Sailfish release are fishing memories to last a lifetime.
Captain David had an excellent trip on April 20. A nice Rooster Fish release was the highlight.
They also caught and released a big Jack Crevalle.
Isaiah Trujillo and his crew from Salty Adventures had a big day on April 6 as theย Wanderer delivered two excellent trophy fish releases.
This Sailfish and Rooster Fish were both safely revived and released.
