On November 14,  the Harvester welcomed John Grumino and his group from New Jersey for a three day campaign.

They stayed busy all day long, with a multitude of solo Sailfish releases on the scorecard.

The trophy releases are memories that last a lifetime, but we also need to think about today’s needs: specifically, dinner for their end-of-week meal.

Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas will keep these boys fed. Excellent start to a wonderful week of fishing.

The Discoverer is back in action. On November 2 we welcomed Tracy Anderson’s group for a productive day of offshore fishing.

We got a little bit of rain from an arm or Hurricane Eta, but the seas were accommodating enough to go fishing.

A nice Sailfish release was the highlight of the trip, which also featured some Yellowfin Tuna filets for these hungry anglers.

Mike Earnest kicked off our new fishing season with a big fun group from North Central Florida. They enlisted the Harvester and Discoverer for their fishing mission.

This hard-charging Sailfish was the catch of the day, and was released by the mega panga.

Throughout the day they scored multiple Yellowfin Tunas.

Over on the Wanderer, Captain William was itching to get back on the water after the long offseason.

The Master Captain got right down to business with a boat load of Yellowfin Tunas on ice. Here’s a sampling:

Craig finished his three-day campaign on the Harvester with a rod-bending day of action. Our chief mechanic Marino was on the real for this fun Dorado catch.

Later in the afternoon the mega panga hooked up a supercharged Sailfish.

This monster put on a show, but Mate Wilson got the leader and pulled him alongside. The Sailfish spit the hook and escaped safely with the last laugh.

The first day of the season filled the refrigerator with Yellowfin Tuna filets, so on the second day Craig and Javier went hunting for trophy fish.

Javier belted up for the first Sailfish of the day. This crazy beauty was darting back in forth above the water.

After a nice battle she was safely released as always.

Craig was next into the breach and waged an epic battle with a big Blue Marlin.

Dario Hernandez joined his father for this trip and snagged a few sandwich-sized Dorado filets.

This trip was also a training run for Mate Antonio, who most of our clients know as our panga boat driver; he will be assuming the mate’s role on the Explorer this year, and will be training with Captain Alex on the Harvester to continue improving his skills.

Ken and Brenda Russell’s group continued to blister the billfish on March 19 with Captain William reporting multiple excellent releases.

These Texas anglers are multiple-time FishingNosara Hall of Famers for a reason…these big Pacific Sailfish didn’t stand a chance.

All safely released by Mate Elias as always. Great work by the mighty flagship Wanderer.
