Ryan Orr and the Harvester went toe-to-toe with several Sailfish. Check out these beauties:

Tampa angler John Harbord has returned to Nosara after 8 long years. He was enshrined in the FishingNosara Hall of Fame on the strength of our first ever Billfish Grand Slam:

This is back when we used to take the fish out of the water, a practice we abandoned in 2014 to ensure billfish safety.

They reunited with Captain Alex on the 15th and got right back to business with multiple Sailfish releases.

Dinner is on deck due to whopper Wahoos.

Amazing catches by the People’s Champion Harvester.

Captain William and the flagship Wanderer joined forces with Dom D’Agostino for a productive 6.5 hour trip on January 11. A beautiful Sailfish release was a very memorable catch.

They also brought home the bacon with this tasty Dorado. Excellent work!

Rick Kennedy and his group had a productive trip with Captain Carlos on January 11. The highlight was this sweet Sailfish release:

They backed that up with a floor-sweeping Dorado. Great work by the big battleship Discoverer.

Captain Alex welcomed angler Stephen Boriack on January 7 and they went to battle with Sailfish.

Great work on the safe handling and release of these majestic creatures.

Cody Jones’ group put the finishing touches on his week of fishing with a gaggle of Sailfish releases on January 7.

Great work by Captain Carlos and the big battleship Discoverer.
The mighty mouse Adventurer broke out of the mold on January 6 with a sweet Sailfish release by angler Derek Elleri.

Sailfish are plentiful in early January, but it takes a special Captain to fight one to the boat while tiller steering on a 23-footer.

Great job by Captain David!
Stephen Boriack’s group and the Harvester got it popping on the 5th with several excellent Sailfish releases.

Don’t laugh at this juvenile Sailfish…it is exponentially harder to successfully drop the bait into the mouth of this smaller pelagic.

They also hooked up a nice bit of Mahi-Mahi for the evening meal.

Kim Clark, Blain Brookshire, Lonnie Rostockys, Jamie Hulse, and Zane Robinson filled up the scorecard with a bunch of great catches on January 5.

Two nice Sailfish releases put the flagship to the test, and then they followed up with a hand-full of nice Dorados.

The Wanderer nagged a supremely awesome Blue Marlin release with angler Steve Mears’ group on January 4.

After the safe release, they followed up with a nice Sailfish release.

They didn’t go home empty-handed, thanks to this sweet Dorado.
