Captain William closed out the month of June with a great run of catches and lots of big smiles for his clients.

This nice Yellowfin Tuna had good size to it and tastes great, while this Dorado…well, it still tastes great.

Sailfish were also on the prowl and with Captain David (of the Adventurer) filling in at the mate position, this big billfish was no match for the mighty flagship.

More great big Yellowfin Tuna catches rounded out the haul as the Wanderer finished off the month with more full fishboxes.

The Explorer welcomed Jacksonville’s Nathan Stuart for a great day of action on June 27.

Nathan is truly serious about fish. He is the proprietor of the restaurant Seafood Kitchen in Jacksonville Beach, and he won a prize that we offered at the Kingbuster fishing tournament on June 24. Within hours he had booked his trip and was in Nosara ready to catch ’em up.

After several great Sailfish releases, Captain Fico lead this group to a nice bite of Yellowfin Tunas.

Now anyone who knows about the Seafood Kitchen knows that it is a true legend of Jacksonville Beach’s eateries, however we have a legend of our own in Nosara…Chef Maria of Nosara Paradise Rentals visited Nathan’s house to share her Yellowfin Tuna receipes, and these photos look good enough to eat:

Empty plates and empty dished means big smiles all around!

Jeff Broome posted the trip of the year so far with Captain Alex on June 11. First off was a true Double Sailfish release.

After the safe release of both fish, they added a third Sailfish for good measure.

Then the real monster came calling as the Harvester reports another MASSIVE Marlin release (the second in two days):

Amazing work by Captain Alex, Mate Wilson, and these Jacksonville anglers.

Here’s what Jeff had to say in an email:

Craig & Matt,

Just wanted to say an enthusiastic THANK YOU for the incredible trip we had thanks to your team.ย  In 3 days (June 9,10,11) we got 3 Marlin (2 blue and a massive black!) 3 sailfish, a huge Dorado, and a good deal more Tuna and Mahi.ย
Thanks to Capt Alex and his hard working deck hand Wilson, I was able to cross Marlin off my bucket list of fish to catch… definitely a dream for me and I know I speak for all the guys in our group that it was definitely the fishing trip of a lifetime!ย
You could tell how passionate Alex was about fishing… his favorite thing to say after we brought in a catch was, “Let’s get another one!”

Pura Vida!
