The action slowed up a little, but Captain William still coaxed this nice Sailfish into the spread for a safe release.
Our pal Chad Grimes turned in a remarkable performance on August 17, the highlight of which was this sweet Blue Marlin releases.
They also scored two Sailfish releases later in the trip.
Amazing work by Captain Alex and Mate Wilson on these safe releases.
James Buxton and his family did well on theย Discoverer with this excellent Sailfish release backed up with a nice Dorado on August 17, 2019.
Theย Wanderer welcomed Andrew Pereira and the crew from Stoked on Fishing TV for the first of several trips with FishingNosara.
Captain William got them acclimated to the blue water with a couple early Sailfish release.
The next pair of fish should keep the refrigerator full: a nice Yellowfin Tuna and a MASSIVE Dorado.
The highlight of the day was a double Sailfish hookup and dual release.
Great work by Master Captain William and Mate Elias to safely handle and release both billfish.
Joe Sallustio’s group final trip on theย Discoverer yielded a bunch of super Sailfish releases.
Great way to end the week for these fun-loving Florida anglers.
Team Sallustio joined Captian Carlos on the 9th and they lit up the scoreboard early with this Sailfish release.
They they battled BIG Yellowfin Tuna throughout the afternoon, with this excellent sampling shown here:
Our good friend Ed Smith brought his boys along for a day of fishing on August 8. This renowned outdoor photographer got a great subject for his folio, as Captain Carlos reports multiple 100+lbs. Yellowfin Tunas on ice.
Here’s what Ed posted to Facebook: “Unbelievable big tuna day fishing with Captain Carlos. Every fish pictured is over 100lbs. We are all destroyed and toast. According to Sean, its time to drink and celebrate. Pura Vida”

Alex Hernandez and his kids finished their week of fishing in Costa Rica with a resounding BANG!
Early in the trip they went offshore and scored multiple nice Sailfish releases.
In the afternoon they moved inshore and scored several Rooster Fish release. The big one is perhaps the largest of the season for the FishingNosara team.
Theย Discoverer did well on August 7 with Scott Swanson’s group reporting a nice Sailfish release backed up with a big Yellowfin Tuna.
All this reeling can work up the appetite, so a plate of fresh sushi with wasabe and soy sauce is a needed treat.
Larry Schenavar and his group joined the Explorerย on August 6 and they got busy with a bunch of Sailfish releases.
They then moved inshore and conquered this stunning Cubera Snapper.
