Tambi Katieb treated her boys to a big fishing party on board the Harvester on November 25. The guest of honor was this monstrous Sailfish.

Snacks for the party were provided by a batch of fat Yellowfin Tunas.

The boys even pulled off a double Yellowfin Tuna hook-up and catch.

Great work by the Katiebย  family and the mega pangaย Harvester!

The Adventurer has been on a tear in the first month of the season, and Captain David’s performance on the 21st was truly exceptional.

The 23-foot inshore assassin has released only a few Sailfish in her 8 year career. To add to the scorecard was this epic Rooster Fish.

For the dinner table they scored a nice Dorado.

Proof again that you don’t need a big boat to catch big fish in Costa Rica.

Gerrie Anderson’s group opened up the new fishing season with Captain Alex on theย Harvester.ย The highlight was this monster Blue Marlin release:

They also added a super Sailfish release to their scorecard.

They also filled up the icebox with lots of nice Dorados scores.

Great way to get things going in the new season.

The big boats are back in action, with angler Jon Cira bringing a big group for three days of fishing in late October.

On the first day back the Discovererย reports a Sailfish backed up with several Yellowfin Tunas.

Here was Jon’s email to us: “First day of fishing was awesome for both boats, lots a schooly tuna, sailfish and a big blue.”

Captain Alex sped through his annual maintenance so that he could get back to the blue water.

On September 21 theย Harvester pulled double duty with angler Randy Trent in the morning and Luke Calvery in the afternoon.

This sweet Sailfish release welcomed the mega panga back to the blue water.

Then the elusive and tasty Congrio was on deck as the Harvester moved inshore.
