Jon Branson is the latest in a long line of Texas anglers who’ve scored big on the flagship Wanderer.

Captain William is stoked to be back on the water and he picked up right where he left off last season with this nice Sailfish release.

Later in the day they found a large pod of feeding porpoises and the Wanderer deftly pulled a beefy Yellowfin Tuna from under Flipper’s nose:

Great work by the flagship during her glorious return to the water.

Craig,

Just wanted to let you know that we returned from our trip yesterday and had a great time.
The staff were outstanding both on the boats and in the office. ย We truly enjoyed our stay and look to return at some point in the future. ย Possibly the fishing tournament in April.
Please let everyone one know that we really appreciated their hospitality.

Multi-time FishingNosara Hall of Famer Bill Harris brought another posse of Tampa-area anglers for a week of blistering blue water action.

They booked the Wanderer and Discoverer for three days in early September.

We are still awaiting full reports, but for now lets check out the highlights, primarlily this sweet Black Marlin release on the Wanderer:

Bill Harris himself added a nice Sailfish release early on the first day, which was certainly a sign of things to come:

Over on the Discoverer Eli Bedran KO’d a nice Sailfish:

There were lots of bending rods and crushed beer cans all week long. Great work by this fun-loving group!

The staff of Nosara Paradise Rentals took some much-deserved time off on the 26th to celebrate Marino, Alejandro, and Grevan’s birthdays. They joined Captain William on the Wanderer for an afternoon of inshore fishing and scored this sweet Rooster Fish release:

Later they enjoyed some tasty cake back at the campus.

Happy Birthday fellas!

After their excellent action offshore, Buz Underill returned to the Wanderer and opted to stay in close to ply the reefs just outside Garza Bay.

They deployed our exclusive Cubera Snapper Tactic and scored big:

This monster weighs at least 50lbs. and its filets will pair nicely with the 80lbs. of Dorado they scored earlier in the week.

Great work by Mr. Underill and the crew of the flagship Wanderer.

Chad Grimes and his posse of North Carolina anglers put a hurtin’ on the inshore reef dweller on August 18 with the flagship Wanderer.

This monster Rooster fish release at the start of the day was just the tip of the iceberg.

They followed up with a MAMMOTH Cubera Snapper (unusual for so early in the day) and then added a late-day Rooster fish release.

Great work from our friends from CCA North Carolina!

Buz Underill and his family started their week of fishing with a blast of blue water action.

First up was this 30lbs. Dorado gobbled up by their youngest angler.

Then is was Pop’s turn to duel a Dorado, and he scored the fish of the day with this 60+lbs. Mahi:

It’s always a treat to see a youngster holding a fish that most likely outweighs him.

The grown-ups took over in the afternoon with a nice Sailfish release.

Excellent hunting by Captain William backed up by superb fish-handling by the incomparable First Mate Alex.

Craig and Paula took a trip on the Wanderer with grandbaby Kylee in tow, and the Sailfish showed up in numbers.

Kylee has been watching FishingNosara DVDs since she was born, and she proved her prowess on the boat…this kid keeps her eyes glued to the baits like an old salty dog.

Craig scored some Sailfish releases and Kylee finally got to see the live 3D version the the DVDs she enjoys so much.

The Wanderer welcomed client JP Jones and his friends for and offshore Sailfish battle on August 10.

Overcast skies kept the water’s surface temperature cool, luring the big billfish to the surface where they hit the baits early and often.

Great performance from First Mate Alex to coordinate the fights and Captain William to stay on the bite.

This group had such fun that they extended their trip on the spot, yielding several more Sailfish releases.
