Shane Whealton and his father joined Captain David on the 4th and posted one of the best days in the eight-year history of the Adventurer.

This amazingly large Rooster Fish release was the start of this legendary day, which also yielded one of the biggest Jack Crevalles we have ever caught.

 

The afternoon was dotted with small Tuna catches, highlighted by a pair of 20lbs. Yellowfin Tunas.

Captain David runs this boat alone (meaning no mate) which means the grisly work of fileting this boatload of fish falls to him.

Amazing haul by the 23-foot inshore assassin Adventurer.

July 11, 2018

Bob Zuniga’s group nabbed the fish of a lifetime on July 11 with this strong Striped Marlin release on July 11.

Later on in the trip they added a nice White Tuna…a rare find this far offshore.

Here’s what Bob had to say in an email: “I just wanted to take the time to let you and your staff know that my group and I had the time of a lifetime! From the fishing, to the breakfast and all of the accommodations, we enjoyed every second we spent at your paradise! Your staff took customer service to the next level and the fishing is unlike I have ever encountered in the world. I just wanted to again send you my thanks and on behalf of my group… PURA VIDA!!! Captain David welcomed Carl Lindberg or Vermont for a very productive day of inshore filet gathering on March 9.

The highlight was the elusive Congrio. One of the few sea creatures that can swim backwards, this unusual fish/eel hybrid yields a tasty white fish that is similar to lobster tail…yummy!

He also nabbed a sandwich-sized Dorado and a nice White Tuna.

He finished off the day with a pair of big Yellowfin Tunas.
