On July David Sohm and his family had a fun day on the flagship.

They nagged a Sailfish release for the scrapbook, then loaded up on tasty Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados.

The action got frenetic during this triple Dorado hook-up.

Master Captain William put on a show in late July with a fantastic run of catches.

These early Sailfish releases were backed up with a sweet Yellowfin Tuna on ice and a nice Dorado.

Captain Alex has built a reputation of delivering once-in-a-lifetime catches for his clients. On July 21 James Stewart and Jim Boyle got TWO such experiences.

These monstrous Yellowfin Tuna would be a life-changing catch on its own, but it was forgotten almost immediately due to this Double Sailfish release:

On July 21, Captain Fico took Lance Strand and his boys out for a fun five hour day on the water.

The seasoned US Coast Guard anglers performed brilliantly on Dorado and Yellowfin Tuns.

Later in the day, young Mr. Strand scored a football-sized Yella Fella of his own.

The Discoverer kept scoring on July 21st with an excellent Sailfish release backed up with a nice Yellowfin Tuna.

Erik Hunter and his family drove down from Tamarindo on July 19 for a quick fishing trip, and despite the slow start (traffic, y’all) they still scored big.

Early meat fish catches got the team limbered up for battle, which came in the afternoon thanks to a swarm of Sailfish.

“Here was Erik’s email to us: “I just want to thank you guys for an awesome fishing trip yesterday. We caught a lot of fish! Alex and his crew were amazing and very good at fishing.”
“We had 4 Sailfish releases, 3 Mahi one 34lbs and two yellowfin. Lost two more Sailfish and one stud yellowfin.”

Jim Jordan’s group landed this super Sailfish on July 15…Safe released as always.

They also made the rods bend with these nice catches during their week in Costa Rica:

San Antonio angler Jim Jordan got his trip started off right. Get a look at this massive Marlin release they scored on July 14.

They followed up the first release with this super Sailfish release:

For the dinner table they added these swole Yellowfin Tunas.

The Discoverer and Corey Hoover’s group caught some true monsters on July 13.

Big billfish releases dotted the scorecard, and were backed up by a nice array of Yellowfin Tunas.

The Discoverer scored another amazing Blue Marlin release on July 10 with angler Michael Bosse and his crew.

Great work by Mate Kevin to safely handle and release this majestic monster.

Captain Carlos also reports that several swell Yellowfin Tuna were put on ice for the dinner table.
