Dani Loewenstein’s group joined the Wanderer on November 1st and they were treated to a bunch of blue water action. Offshore, they scored several Yellowfin Tunas.
They finished up the day inshore and boated this MONSTER Rock Snapper
The Adventurer scored a nice array of critters on August 6. The switchblade delivered a small Wahoo, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, and Rock Snapper.
It was an honor to welcome our dear friend Jerry Moulton to the Discoverer on July 30, and this Jacksonville angling legend did not disappoint.
They loaded up the filet bag with multiple Yellowfin Tunas and a BIG Rock Snapper.
Joe Newton continued to shine on May 21 with the Harvester posting a hybrid offshore/inshore scorecard. This wonderful Sailfish release offshore got things started.
Then they moved inshore and boated this lover Rock Snapper:
Then they nabbed this 5lbs. Bonita:
Captain Wilson rigged it up and sent to down to the reef, and nailed this awesome Cubera Snapper (released after photo). Great work by the Harvester.
Rob Coxey and Russell Nader turned in a brilliant performance on August 7 with Captain Fito reporting a wide variety of catches. This Dorado got things going:
Rob scored this small Rooster Fish.
They also pried up this unusual Rock Snapper.
Lastly, they scored this mystery fish; we thinks its either a Blue Jack Crevalle or perhaps a Bluetail Trevalley.
UPDATE: It’s an African pompano. Thanks to Dave Eisner for the eagle-eyes.
Captain Fito stayed close to shore on December 29 and delivered this beautiful Rock Snapper.
Yummy!
On August 18, Justin Halliday and Misty Dingel had a great time with Captain David on the Adventurer.
They nagged a few nice Yellowfin Tunas, then followed-up with tasty Yellowtail Snapper.
More snappers of the Red and Striped variety rounded out the day’s catches.
Add in this Jack Crevalle, and you have a very diverse filet bag.
Sean Jackson’s crew scored big inshore on August 8. The Discoverer reports these nice Snappers (Cubera and Rock) were caught and released.
We used to keep these for the dinner table, but we have since become enlightened about the long-term health of this fish stock and now release them whenever possible.
Spencer Hoene was itchin’ to get fishing, so he booked the Adventurer on July 29 to warm up for his group trips on the bigger boats later in the week.
Great job on the catch of this Rock Snapper.
