Great work by the Explorer.
In anticipation of the 2022 Ship of Fools Tournament, the US Office has GONE FISHING and the blog will not be updated daily until the week of April 4.
However we will issue raw dispatches from the front lines of the battle @FishingNosara on all major social media platforms.
Also, here are the unsorted and untouched photos from the FishingNosara captains, March 26 – April 1:
Captain Wilson pulled double-duty on March 24. In the morning 5 hour session, the Harvester delivered a bunch of nice Yellowfin Tunas for Jenny Gann’s group.
Then in the afternoon, Brandt Hultberg scored the fish-of-a-lifetime with this MONSTER Blue Marlin release.
Amazing work by the People’s Champion Harvester.
The Explorer delivered a big Yellowfin Tuna for this young angler…it’s too big for the photo but trust us it is a big one!
Captain Wilson on the Harvester with brilliant Blue Marlin catch and release from late March 2022.
David Sabistion’s group released a nice Sailfish on March 23.
The Wanderer and anglers from the Carlson group scored the fish of a lifetime with this wonderful Blue Marlin release on March 23.
The Discoverer scored a sweet Sailfish release on March 22.
The also brought home the bacon with this excellent Dorado for the dinner table.
MYSTERY FISH ALERT!
Martin Cooper caught this unusual looking creature on March 29 with the Adventurer. It looks like a rock, has a lure like an angler-fish, and has feet like a frog.
Any Marine Biologists out there want to let us know what it is?
Later in the trip, Martin scored multiple very tasty Red Grouper.
Then he caught a big Corvina, except that while he was reeling it in another fish snatched the back half…oh well, what’s left should make good ceviche!
