The Harvester has been reaping the rewards of the early Spring blue water blitz.
Angler Rachel Gouin and her group wore out the scoreboard with sweet releases. Check out this high-flying monster:
These Sailfish are true sea-monsters, and are full of fight!
The ultimate catches of the trip came with this simultaneous hook-up:
Rick Noonan returned on the 10th and continued to score Sailfish releases.

“Craig,”
“Wanted to say Thank You for putting me together with Fico. Not very chatty but he put me 10 sailfish (8 landed) 1 Blue Marlin (landed) and a baby Wahoo (dinner).”
“My first billfish experience and I was blown away. A Danish buddy joined me on Saturday, zero saltwater fishing experience, as it turned out he got to fight the Marlin (my bucket list fish). Fish of a lifetime for him. That said I will be back to find that Marlin again.”

Captain Carlos fished hard in early March, culminating with a quartet of sweet Sailfish releases on the 10th.
Katie Paulsen’s group performed beautifully on these great billfish releases.
March 10 was family-fun time, and Brent Cockerham’s family was up to the challenge.
The whole crew got a crack a Pacific Sailfish, with multiple releases filling up the Wanderer‘s scorecard.

We are so close to the blue water that sometimes real magic can happen. Consider this report from March 9:
Rick Noonan headed offshore about 10 miles to the deep blue water, and immediately started scoring billfish.
Several nice Sailfish releases were backed up by a feisty Striped Marlin release.
Rather than stay offshore to pursue another Marlin (thus securing the ultra-rare Billfish Grand Slam), Captain Fico headed inshore and scored another trophy: This excellent Rooster fish.
The Explorer continues to amaze!
Kenny Strickler and Charley Smith posted an excellent day of Sailfish releases on March 9 with Captain Alex on the Harvester.
Seems like after each release the mega panga had another fired-up Sailfish in the spread ready for action.
The season is getting good when you see big numbers of Sailfish, especially when they are this energetic.
Great work by Mate Wilson to ensure the safe release of these monsters.
The versatile flagship Wanderer stayed inshore on the 9th, with Brent Etlinger and his group notching the scorecard with an excellent Rooster fish releases.
The Discoverer has been heating up this season, as proven by Virginia angler Tyler Steele’s trip on March 9.
The big battleship released multiple nice Sailfish, and more importantly got big smiles from this fun-loving group.
Cody Nelson’s group put on a show on the 8th with Captain William reporting several nice Sailfish releases.
As usual the Wanderer delivered the goods for their clients. Awesome job!
