Great work by the mighty flagship Wanderer.

Good eating and fun fish to catch!
Captain William and the Wanderer fought and released this excellent Blue Marlin in late January.

The Discoverer released an awesome Blue Marlin on January 23.

Safe released as always by Mate Kevin.

The flagship also nabbed a nice Sailfish release.

For the dinner table they added an awesome Yellowfin Tuna.

Some tasty Amberjack were caught nearshore, and off in the blue water the Harvester nabbed several nice Dorados.

The action ramped up in intensity as the month went on. Check out this super Sailfish release:

These fish are fun to catch but not great to eat, so they released them to fight another day.
After a fine day of Dorado scores on the Wanderer, Team Odle moved over to the big battleship Discoverer on the 22nd and added Yellowfin Tunas to their filet haul.

They added another monsterous Dorado to round out the trip:

Mate Elias served up this first fish as sushi, and another big Dorado was on the hook before this group finished their snack (check the background)

Great job by the mighty flagship Wanderer.

At FishingNosara we keep security guards on the boats overnight; it’s a tough job, with long hours keeping lookout. Recently they have spotted something unusual: Big Snook hanging out under the boats just before sunrise.
Javier aka Rey Robalo took his son Dario and boatman Fito out in the Transporter on the 20th and found out the stories from the guards were correct:

This 33lbs. Snook is just a taste…on the same adventurer he hooked up to a five-foot long Snook.

He lost him this time, but we will see if this Loch Ness Monster of a Snook is real soon enough.
