The Wanderer welcomed Howard Nifoussi and his family for a fantastic day of fishing on March 30.
They had several nice Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado catches. This is the time of year where both species overlap and it’s great to see such results.
Young Mr. Nifoussi scored a sweet Sailfish releses for the trophy case.
They also got hooked up to a MONSTER Marlin and fought his bravely for a while.
Not sure if this the the same 800lbs. fish theย Explorer tangled with earlier in the week.
The Discoverer nagged an awesome Blue Marlin release with Leslaw and Barbara Gredysa’s family on March 29.
Amazing performance from this fun Sandlot full of kids!
Dan Johnson from Hatteras, NC took his three Immigration Officer friends Antonio Carrillo,
Luis Rodriguez Valdez and Carlos Ramirez Garcia for a day on the Explorer.
It was Luisโ and Carlosโ first day ever fishing in the ocean.
Everyone had a great time catching groupers and exotic bottom fish
At the end of the trip they had a great meal at Marlin Bills with the catch.
Dan Johnson took friends and clients Richarg Fertig and Erika Bossi on the Wanderer on March 28.
They enjoyed a beautiful day on the sea and caught nine Yellowfin Tunas and two Congrios.
Mike Bosma brought the fly tackle along for a blue water battle on March 27.
Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin perfomed the bait and switch and Mr. Bosma presented the tantalizing fly to this Yellowfin Tuna.
A late day Sailfish release rounded out the scorecard.
Master Captain William and theย Wandererย delivered a monster Marlin release for Ken Russell on March 26.
What a great accomplishment! The Marlin release was backed-up with three nice Sailfish releases but Misti Nolan, Brenda Russell, and Larry ‘Captain Lorenzo’ Komenda.
For the fishbox they nagged six Yellowfin Tunas.

Carl Bethmann took to theย Harvesterย on the 26th for a 5-hour half day, and despite the short trip still scored a nice billfish release with this Sailfish.
On March 26, Captain Fico reported two Sailfish releases and two tasty Yellowfin Tunas on ice.
Conner Fenn’s group performed brilliantly, and took a little dip along with one of their Sailfish releases.
William Blocher scored TWO fish-of-a-lifetime on March 25 with Captain Fico reporting a pair of Marlin releases.
“Captain Fico put me on the fish straight away,” wrote Bill in an email.
Amazingly, this was on a 5 hour half day trip.
Excellent fish-handling by Mate Antonio to ensure the safe survival of this wonderful.
Also late in the day they hooked up another marlin estimated at 700lbs.-800lbs.
Touched the leader and released. Thought the only photo we have so far is this Bigfoot-esque blurry shot, this fish is a real monster.
