Theย Harvester battled a bunch of billfish with angler Sloan Roger’s group on the 13th. The highlight of their blue-water battles was this big Black Marlin release.
This monster Marlin release was the finale of a trip that also included a swarm of Sailfish releases.
Mate Wilson and Captain Alex had their hands full with these airborne Sailfish.

Nosara Paradise Rentals GM Javier Hernandez and Cheif Engineer Marino Lora brought their families along for a refreshing day of offshore fishing on February 12.

After a year of hardships, it’s great to see the ‘Pura Vida‘ spirit alive and well in Nosara.
Theย Explorer performed brilliantly on February 9 with Norman Lindsey scoring a very challenging Double Sailfish release.
This would be the clear-cut highlight for most trips, but Norman also nagged a wonderful 50+lbs. Dorado.
“I just wanted to say how impressed I was with your captain and mate, and the entire experience,” Norman wrote to us via email. ‘Everything was top notch, and my wife and I had a blast!”
Shane Whealton finished off his week of fishing in style on February 8 with theย Harvesterย reporting a 71lbs. Dorado catch; this is clearly the largest of the year so far.
This big bad bull hit two different baits, but the mega panga’s crew calmly coordinated the fight to prevent tangles.
The Whealton boys were joined by FishingNosara’s Northeast Rep Mark Cooney for this fishin’ mission. Their scorecard was marked up with multiple Sailfish releases.

Captain Alex welcomed anglers from the Adam O’Keil group on February 6 and posted a banner day of blue water action.
On the way out to the blue water they nagged some small feeder fish, then stepped up the main attraction.
This Marlin release is a truly world-class angling acheivment. Safely handled and relesed by Captain Alex so we can count on battling this beautiful billfish again soon.
Theย Harvester was attacked by swarms of Sailfish throughout the trip.
These billfish were fired up and ready for action; what a blessing for these Canadian anglers.
Javier scored this nice Big-Eyed Jack at the River Mouth on February 5.

This amazingly large Rooster Fish release was the start of this legendary day, which also yielded one of the biggest Jack Crevalles we have ever caught.
The afternoon was dotted with small Tuna catches, highlighted by a pair of 20lbs. Yellowfin Tunas.
