UK angler Peter Brumby joined the Harvester on Christmas Eve and they had a bunch of nice gifts under the tree.

“We had a great morning fishing today,” wrote Peter in an email.
On December 22, Jacksonville angler Randy Reep nagged a bucket-list caliber Rooster Fish release with Captain Carlos on the Discoverer.

The resilient Ed Parker had to wait out a freak wind storm in mid-December. On his rescheduled trip Captain David hunted down this excellent Rooster Fish release.

Great work by the switchblade Adventurer.
We welcomed Hong Kong angler James Zhang for a battle on this side of the Pacific on December 21. He performed beautifully with this super Blue Marlin release:

Fresh off the presses is a great article in Florida Sportsman Magazine about FishingNosara. Thanks to Rick Ryals, Frank Wilhelm, and of course our amazing boat crews.

Ship of Fools Tournament stalwarts Ivan DeLuca and Jimmy Nichols returned to the Discoverer on December 15 and put on a show! Check out these multiple Marlin releases:

For what it’s worth, that will be worth 1500 points come tournament time in April. They also brought home dinner with a big Dorado backed up by Yellowfin Tuna.

On December 15 angler Matt Finn performed brilliantly with several fat Yella Fells on ice.

The Explorer posted the trip of the season so far on December 14 with Jim Becker and FishingNosara Northeast Representative Mark Cooney each nagging a Marlin release.

Mark’s fish was a great catch, but Mr. Becker’s Blue Marlin is truly the highlight of the day.

The Explorer is always a good bet for a suprise fish, and this monster Wahoo fits the bill.

This fish is quite abundant, but this catch is surprising because the sharp teeth of the Wahoo tends to overwhelm our all-mono blue water rigs.

The barroom brawler also nagged the more predictable haul of Yellowfin Tunas.
