Another outstanding inshore performance by the Adventurer on May 14. This couple scored a big Dorado and a nice Yellowtail Snapper.

Looks like we need a bigger icebox on the Adventurer if this kind of action keeps up!

The Adventurer continues to amaze as Mate Fico has really applied himself to maintain the high standards set on the 23-foot pocket knife.
Check out this big Wahoo, estimated at 35+lbs.:

That was the highlight of a trip that also included small Tunas and Dorados…a nice way to round out the shopping cart.

Michael Williams enlisted the plucky Adventurer for an inshore harvest and was rewarded with a wide variety of table fare.

This well-rounded haul included Dorado, Cubera Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, and the ultra-elusive Queen Snapper.

When you invest a full-day into Extreme Panga fishing, this is the kind of production you can expect. Great work by Mate Fico in keeping the pedal to the metal all day long!
The Adventurer scored four small Dorados on a brief 2.5 hour trip on May 8.

Clearly we’ve caught bigger Mahi before, but the pile of filets look the same from a 40lbs. as from these four 10lbs. fish.
Our new friend Jon Athan is a hardcore surfer who has recently discovered Super Panga fishing, and in the last month he has been wearing out the reefs on board the Adventurer.

This Queen Snapper is a very rare catch for our area and the crew tells me that these are some of the best tasting fish in the ocean!

Mate Fico has kept Jon right on top of the bite and his catches got better and better over his three trips this month.

Great work by the new helmsman of the Adventurer and our new friend Jon Athan.
The hits keep on coming for the plucky Adventurer. Mate Fico took this couple out for a half day and they scored this brilliantly colored Amberjack. Check it out:

Who says you need a big boat to get big fish?

That is a very rare catch for our area and the crew tells me that these are some of the best tasting fish in the ocean. Truly this is a testament to the fish-finding power of the the Adventurer.
The Adventurer has seen some great action this month, but we always want to pay special attention to the catches recorded by our young anglers.

This father-son sunset trip on May 3 yielded some nice White Tuna catches (above), and the next day another youngster grabbed himself a sandwich-sized Dorado:

Great work by Fico and the family-friendly Adventurer.
With the big Captain’s shuffle going on around the team, don’t forget that the 23-foot pocket knife Adventurer will now be the proving platform for our up-and-coming Mates to proves their prowess.

Check out these nice Snappers pulled off the bottom with Mate Fico at the tiller of the Adventurer:

Great work!
Another fantastic Sailfish released by Fico on the Adventurer:

Big fish must feel pretty embarrassed when they get bested by a 23-foot boat, but Fico is a true disciple of Extreme Panga Fishing and once again beat a blue water beastie!
Eric Weissman proved how tough he is by spending a full day on board the Adventurer with Captain Carlos.

They released two Sailfish from the 23-foot pocket knife, and also captured some of the best action shots to date for the diminutive Adventurer.

Fantastic fishing and photos by Eric!
