Brandon and Lindsay Overbay took to the Adventurer for a great day off inshore fishing on July 29, highlighted by a trio of MASSIVE Cubera Snappers:

They also nabbed a nice Rock Snapper, very similar to the Cubera but with a lighter shade of red and a different fin pattern.

Captain David is a fish catching machine and he can not be stopped on the 23-foot switchblade.

Anthony Johnson rocked the house on the Harvester with a hybrid inshore/offshore pair of trips for the memories.

These big mean Sailfish were hungry when Captain Alex found them, challenging Mate Kevin to bill and release them safely.

The next day they stayed inshore and gathered live bait for a deep water hunt:

In the afternoon they headed inshore and fought Snappers on spinning tackle.

What a haul by Mr. Johnson!

The Explorer has cemented a reputation as a true catch-all vessel; in late July the barroom brawler scored every major type and species of fish in our stretch of water.

As usual the Pacific Sailfish have been thick and Captain Fico has been there to capitalize.

Also offshore the Super Panga found some excellent Yellowfin Tuna.

The action was hot inshore as well, with Amberjack and big Cubera Snappers on ice plus lots of beautiful Rooster fish releases:

Adrian Paredes and his group had a big day with Captain William reporting seven Sailfish release on their July 13 trip.

Nice work by Mate Johnson to keep these fights short and sweet leading to safe releases.

Check out this high-flyer:

Big fish above the water means big smiles on board!

Later on they moved inshore and nabbed two swole Cubera Snapper:

ย

“Great day on the water. Dreams came true on our trip to Nosara.” wrote Adrian in and email. ย “Thank you Captain William and mate Johnny for putting us on 7 beautiful sailfish and two tasty cubera snapper. I can’t wait to go back!”

The barroom brawler Explorer closed out the month with a wide variety of great action with clients Britta and Sam Gramer .

Very energetic Sailfish release by this young angler, but the Explorer also mopped up inshore, including this big old Amberjack:

This pair of Rooster Fish releases are certainly bucket-list worthy:

Plus the Super Panga filled the fridgerator with this beefy Cubera Snapper on ice:

Kim Gill’s group kept the heat up with an excellent second day of fishing on June 21. Big Rooster Fish releases were the first order of the day on this inshore morning.

After the quartet of trophy fish releases, they added to the icebox with a whopper Cubera Snapper

This second bigger fish lived up to it’s name with an attempted SNAP:

All is a day’s work by the Master Captain William!

The Wanderer had a splendid day of offshore action on June 11.

After an early Sailfish release, the flagship stayed offshore and scored a few football-sized Yellowfin Tunas.

The next day the Wanderer returned offshore and nabbed several more great Sailfish releases.

After all the offshore success, Captain William and Mate Johnson switched it up and moved inshore to best this awesome Cubera Snapper:
