Nice Triple Sailfish day for the Discoverer on the 22nd.
Smooth moves by Captain Carlos and Mate Juan Carlos!
Heather Frey and her group had a whale of a trip on the Discoverer with four Sailfish released on a five hour trip.
Each of these monster are way over the 100lbs. mark and were quickly conquered by the big battleship.
Safe releases by the incomparable Mate Juan Carlos means that we’ll see these behemoths again soon.
On June 19 the Frey Family scored a pair of trophy fish inshore; both of these lovely Rooster fish were released after the photos.

Our good buddy Harry Mueller and his buddies scored big on the Discoverer with a trio of Sailfish released on June 18.
Nice fish handling by Mate Juan Carlos meant that all three fish were safely released to fight another day.
June 14, 2016 marks the first time in the seven year history of the FishingNosara team that Marlin releases were scored by every team boat.ย

“Did battle with a huge marlin today for almost an hour before he broke off,” writes Robbie Parks in an email. “It made three greyhound runs for all of us to see.”

Captain Carlos scored a nice trio of Sailfish releases on the battleship Discoverer with the Tagliabue group on June 9.
Great fish handling by Mate Juan Carlos means these fish were safely released as always.
Karl Rickert and Michael Weathers did well on the Discoverer with three Sailfish releases reported on the 26th.

The bite has been on fire this week with big numbers of Sailfish bites. The Discoverer knocked out five Sailfish releases on a half day trip with client Dwayne Fuller.
That’s a fish per hour if your scoring at home!
