A few extra hands on board theย Harvester as Captain Don Dingman of Hook the Future TV was in town to film a new episode.
We’ll let you know when it airs in a few month. Can’t wait!
Don Dingman and the boys continued their battle on the 14th, this time with Captain William.
The Master Captain delivered the Sailfish releases, but also hunted down the tasty Yellowfin Tunas.
“Another epic day with Charlie & Jack- the tuna slayers… with a couple of sails in the mix too. Love this place.”
Hook the Future TV and Captain Don Dingman are back for more blue water action. This time they joined Captain Carlos on theย Discoverer and took it offshore to Sailfish City.
“Epic day with awesome anglers Jack and Charlie! Iโm so proud of these guys! 7 sails…. double headers…. cameras in their face and they absolutely rocked it!”
“Captain Carlos and Kevin put us in the bite! Canโt wait for tomorrow!”
The Wanderer was the stage for another episode of the hit TV show Hook the Future on June 7. The episode will air soon, but for now check out these tasty teasers:
Stay tuned!
It was a true pleasure to welcome our old pal Captain Don Dingman for a quick romp on the Wanderer. Captain Don is the beloved TV personality behind Hook the Future TV and is the driving force in getting young anglers into fishing.
Captain William followed the porpoises and snuck in to steal their lunch.
Don nabbed this nice Yellowfin Tuna on the Wanderer.
Then Rebecca stepped up to battle a tasty Dorado.
They were in town celebrating their anniversary; remember that they fished with us on their honeymoon, and Rebecca dressed up for the occasion.
Still one of our favorite pics.
Great work by Captain Don and Rebecca!
Great day on the water for two newlyweds who have a close connection to our US office in Jacksonville, FL. Captain Don Dingman is known for his groundbreaking work on the hit TV show Hook the Future and Rebecca Williams-Dingman is an award-winning TV personality on our local news leader WJXT4.
They have visited Costa Rica several times in the last few years, so it was an honor to host a Honeymoon themed blue water fishing-mission for this great couple.
After the Double Sailfish release, they got hooked up to a nice Marlin.
The Wanderer reports great action highlighted by this magnificent Striped Marlin release:
Great work by Rebecca on the reel and Capt. Don on the billshot. Safe released like always!
Later in the trip they released a few nice Sailfish and put some meaty Dorado filets on ice.
Great work by these great folks!
It is a true delight to welcome back Captain Don Dingman and his crew from Hook the Future for a week of fishing and fun. He has some great kids lined up for educational fishing excursions later in the week, but on Don’s first day he and the crew got themselves re-acquainted with the big Pacific Sailfish.
The first big Sailfish came early, just before 9am. Captain Don brought her home for a quick release and set her free.
With the ice broken, the Hook the Future team broke out the cool camera toys and shot some extremely awesome footage. When the second Sailfish came it at 11am, Captain Don strapped up the GoPro HD Headmounted camera and got up close and personal with this beauty.
As 1pm approached the bite intensified, and this time is was Rebecca’s turn to land a marine monster. She was apt on the reel and brought this big girl home in no time flat. Excellent fishing by this Jacksonville angler!
Around 4pm yet another big beast ripped up the spread and this time Conrad the cameraman got to step out from behind the lens and boat a beautiful beast. Rebecca subbed as camera operator and Captain Don coordinated the release of this fourth Sailfish of the day.
The fifth and final Sailfish of the trip came just before lines out at 5:20pm. This was the biggest fish of the day by far and gave Conrad the chance to break-in his new waterproof pole camera.
The fish obliged the camera by putting on a heck of a show on it’s way to a safe release.
