The Dorados came in bunches with some double hook-ups.

The Wanderer and angler Steve Putbrese put on a show on March 18 with multiple excellent Sailfish releases backed-up with some tasty Dorado for the dinner table.






The Dorados came in bunches with some double hook-ups.


Herb and Sally Pittman joined up with Captain Fico for an afternoon of inshore action on March 18.


The early bite consisted of Dorado and Jack Crevelle, and then Sally finished it off with a nice Cubera Snapper.





It’s easy to work up a hunger while catching big fish, but don’t spoil your Snapper dinner!

Chris and Charlotte Keane joined the Harvester on March 17 and just five hours of fishing loaded up on a lifetime’s worth of great catches.







These high-flying Sailfish came in hot and heavy, but the mega panga was up for the challenge.









All of these Sailfish were safely released as usual.


They didn’t go home empty-handed, thanks to this excellent Dorado on deck.

Captain Alex reports steady bites from Sailfish as the season continues to heat up.

Katie Paulsen’s group returned to the Wanderer on the 14th and had a great day with wide variety of catches.


This tasty Dorado broke the ice early on, then Team Paulsen belted up to battle some nice Sailfish.




They totaled three Sailfish releases on this trip.




A surprise Yellowfin Tuna was caught late in the day; a sign of things to come as we enter our second high season this month.

Ian Heaps and his posse enlisted the Discoverer for a great day offshore on March 13.



Super Sailfish releases provided the highlights of a trip that also included this nice Dorado for the dinner table.

John and Alice Hagaman joined the Brent Cockerham group for a blistering day of action on the Harvester, highlighted by a swarm of Rooster Fish releases.

















While they were offshore they nabbed several nice Dorados for the dinner table.







The cherry on top of this sundae was this beautiful Rooster Fish release.

The Discoverer welcomed angler Pam Hill on February 24 for a big day of blue water action.



They also added some tasty filets, thanks to this nice Dorado and Jack Crevelle on ice.

Henrik Fruelund came to us all the way from Europe to ply the blue waters off of Nosara. He selected the mega panga and they got down to business quickly.










The pelagics were fired up and each put on a tailwalking above-the-water display on the way to the safe releases.







Fantastic work by Mate Kevin and Captain Alex to ensure the safe survival and release of these sportfish.





They returned the next day (February 24) for more firefights with fierce Sailfish.














Once again the Harvester was up to the challenge, and successfully fought several Sailfish.







All of this billfish battling can cause one to work up quite and appetite…thankfully they added a big Dorado for the dinner table.


New Jersey angler Jack Herzlinger was super-excited to get fishing after purchasing his trip 18 months ago at the Saltwater Sportsman Expo in Edison, NJ.








Turns out it was worth the wait as the Harvester reports several super Sailfish releases.






They also added some tasty Dorados for the dinner table.









As a final send-off, they scored a wonderful Rooster Fish release for the trophy room. First they picked up this big Bonita:

Then they put a hook in the Bonita and sent it to the bottom, where this monster Rooster fish engulfed it.
