The Discoverer and Paul Murry’s group filled the fishboxes with Dorados during their trip on August 14.

These tasty Dorados will certainly keep the group fed during their week.

Our old friend Jon Matula has returned to Nosara and is rolling about 14 deep. His group spread out across several boats on the 13th, and the group on the Discoverer posted some great Yellowfin Tuna catches.

These were backed up by a nice Dorado and a sweet Blue Marlin release.

David and Kevin Paredes joined Captain Alex on August 12 and continued their run of hot fishing both offshore and inshore.

This 34lbs. Rooster Fish release is a great addition to the trophy case, and was a harbinger of good things to come later in the day when they headed offshore.

The Harvester reports a 48lb. Yellowfin Tuna and two nice Dorados caught in the blue water offshore.

On August 10, Natalie Scheider and her friends turned in a nice half day with the Explorer.

Big Dorados were the order of the day, and these anglers were more than happy to bring them home.
The Sailfish swarmed during early August, and Captain Alex led the charge with an excellent seven release day on August 9.

This Double Sailfish release was quite a challenge, but Mate Wilson coordinated with Captain Alex wonderfully and kept these fish separate and safe.

The sustained Sailfish attack continued all morning and the crew chalked up the scoreboard several times.

Great work to keep these fights short and sweet, ensuring the safety and survival of the fish.

A man can work up quite a hunger with all this action, so wouldn’t it be nice to catch something to eat?

Yes….yes it is.

This monster deck-sweeping Dorado even impressed Captain William on the Wanderer (see backround), who came by to see for himself.

Amazing day by the mega panga!
Captain Carlos has been magical in mid-August with a swarm of Sailfish releases reported on the big battleship Discoverer.

Wonderful fish handling by Mate Kevin on these safe releases.

The Discoverer also melted plenty of ice with these Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas applying the heat.

Jon Poploskie joined Captain Fico for a 5 hour half day on August 7 and beefed up the fridgerator with this nice Yellowfin Tunas.

Also his youngster scored a little sandwich-sized Dorado for good measure.

Excellent work by the Explorer!
Kurt Hoffman and his kids Marley and Tucker made lifetime memories on the August 4 with several great scores on the mighty Wanderer.

Anglers young and old bent rods on this trip and ended up with a full box of filets.

Awesome work by Captain William and Mate Jhonny on this fantastic day.

Our old friend Elizabeth Popp brought her boys along for a fun day of inshore action with Captain David.

The Adventurer delivered the good with this excellent Cubera Snapper backed up by a nice Dorado.

Looks like these growing boys will have plenty to eat this week!
On July 25th the Harvester and angler Carlyle Smith found themselves neck-deep in some BIG Sailfish.

This is the time of year when the Sailfish are at their largest, with some of these easily over 150lbs.

A mid-day Dorado took care of dinner.

More nice Sailfish releases rounded out the day.

Great work by the mega panga!
