The Harvester stayed hot on October 20 with client Shane Miears reporting a big pile of Dorado filets on ice.
Everyone got a turn on the reel and contributed to the dinnertime Dorado haul!
James Wills came to Nosara primarily to surf, but he brought some friends along for an afternoon half day with Captain Alex on on October 19th.
This big Dorado got the afternoon off to a hot start, and was backed up by a similarly monstrous Mahi-Mahi:
A third fired-up Dorado put Team Wills to the test but was no match for the Mega Panga:
After all these filets ended up on ice in the fishbox, a little finch perched on one of the anglers’ head:
This must have been a good omen, because a late day Sailfish strike put the exclamation point on this great fishing day.

After several days of sweet Sailfish action, the Harvester spent the 15th targeting meat fish with the Koehn group.
They nabbed five fat Dorados for the filet bag.

Rachael and Maurice Taylor had a nice run of trips with Captain Fico on September 26th and 27th.
The highlight was this sweet Sailfish release, but the haul also included a good number of Yellowfin Tunas backed up by a couple big Dorados.

Gary Killam knocked it out of the park on the Wanderer with a fantastic Blue Marlin release:
Earlier in the day they filled up the fishbox with Dorado and Yellowfin Tunas on the deck.

This MASSIVE Cubera Snapper was the highlight of a day where the rods stayed bent. They also added two nice Dorados and over a dozen football-sized Yellowfin Tuna.

After a much-needed repaint and refit, the mighty flagship Wanderer was back in action on September 15th.
Captain William picked up right where he left off, boasting a nice Sailfish release backed up with a tasty Dorado for the dinner table.

Alicia Blackledge and her posse got our off-season underway with a wildly productive day onboard the Explorer.
In addition to this sweet Dorado, they moved inshore and nabbed an excellent Rooster Fish release:
At the end of the trip they added to the filet bag with this respectable Yellowfin Tuna:
Captain Carlos finished off his season with a banner day with John Ritchie.
