Even though it’s Yellowfin Tuna season, that didn’t stop Captain Carlos from walloping this awesome Dorado on July 8:

Backed up with some more reasonably sized Yellowfin Tunas, this was a excellent haul for the Discoverer.

The Explorer performed brilliantly on July 5 with clients Keith Benson and Heidi Watson. At the top of the scoreboard were these wonderful Rooster fish releases.













Then they nabbed a nice Dorado later in the day.

The walk-off shot was this mammoth Cubera Snapper:

Captain William followed the spinning porpoise pods out to the fertile offshore hunting grounds with client Richard Zapalac on July 3.





As usual the Wanderer scored a wide variety of tasty filets.



Richard and Claire Schroer posted a three species day on the Discoverer with a big Sailfish release backed-up by a big Dorado and a nice Yellowfin Tuna.



The Wanderer welcomed Jamie Garcia for a fun day of Yellowfin Tuna action. Texas anglers always do well when they go fishing in Nosara, and this crew is no exception.





They also scooped up this small Dorado for some variety.


A group of Lousiana-based anglers led by Jamie Garcia scored world-class billfish action on June 29. The leader of the pack was this 250lbs. Blue Marlin.





They also nabbed a big Sailfish release after an action-packed firefight.




Team Garcia didn’t leave empty handed, as the scored a few filets thanks to these Yellowfin Tunas and Dorado.




Bridget Sprague’s group struck again on June 25 with another boatload of Yellowfin Tunas on the deck.

They also nabbed some schoolie Dorados to add variety to the haul.


Mike Borrom and his son came down to Nosara for a bit of fishing in mid-June, and on the 10th they nabbed a nice Dorado.



The Tallahassee Offshore Mafia is back in the house, led by returning Hall of Famer Chuck Harris.


These Florida anglers have made fishing in a June a tradition for several years and are primed for another great week of action.


They scored some nice-sized Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados to start the trip, then finished the day inshore with a wonderful Cubera Snapper:

A quartet of anglers led by Bill Hogan got a little bit of everything with the Wanderer on June 8.




They started out with a gaggle of nice Yellowfin Tunas on ice.






They also added a tasty Dorado for good measure.

Team Hogan closed out the day with a pair of Sailfish releases…that’s a full day of fishing action!
