Andy Nuber pulled off one of the toughest feats in blue water fishing: The Double Sailfish release!


Aided by Mate Kevin and Mate Wilson, both of these creatures were safely released.

Later on they hooked up a nice Dorado for the dinner table.



On January 20 Patrick Peltier scored again on the Discoverer with a true Double Sailfish Release.


This magnificent feat was flawlessly executed by Mate Kevin with both fish safely released after the photo.

Later in the day they added this nice Dorado…excellent work all around!
Ricky Hamblin scored a nice Double Sailfish release on the Harvester.




The strike was simultaneous, and the releases were four minutes apart. The fights lasted under a half hour.






Nice fish handling by Mate Kevin to ensure the safe release of this pair of beauties.

The Discoverer and Dan Wood group posted an amazing day of billfish action on March 22. They nabbed a 200lbs. Blue Marlin early in the trip:

Later the Sailfish bite heated up with this challenging Double Sailfish release followed up with a third Sailfish right at the end of the half-day trip.


Pretty sweet for just a half day trip!
The legendary Dan Parker struck again with a huge day of Sailfish releases on the Harvester.








Captain Alex took them offshore and found the billfish were aggressive and hungry.









Early in the day they snatched up 4 Sailfish, all safe released by Mate Kevin.








The highlight of the trip was this awesome Double Sailfish Release:




This is one of the most exciting feats in fishing backed up by some amazing photos.




To round out the trip they put this big Dorado in the fishbox…perfect for a late night snack at Nosara Paradise Rentals with the Jerome McKown group.




David White and the Harvester turned in a performance worthy of the FishingNosara Hall of Fame on January 18.


First up with this challenging Double Sailfish release, with Mate Kevin on the assist.


These were the first of five Sailfish releases on the trip.









The highlight came late in the day with this 200+lbs. Marlin Release.







Dan Johnson having fun again with his friends! The local legend was back in action on the 18th with Captain William on the Wanderer reporting four Sailfish releases backed up by a big Dorado.










Javier came along on this offshore hunt; the highlight was these challenging Double Sailfish hookups and releases.












The Dorado came late in the day and will definitely look good on the dinner plate.

Captain William and Mate Jocxer welcomed Dan Johnson for a very productive day of offshore action. The highlight of the trip was this excellent Double Sailfish Release:











Nice to have Captain Fico of the Explorer along to lend an extra hand on this difficult fish-handling feat.



Later they had great success on a swarm of Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado:













We met Ryan Miles at the Charleston Boat Show last year and are thrilled to have him and his family down for a fun week of fishing.

The Discoverer performed brilliantly with four Sailfish releases, punctuated by this sweet Double Release.

Paul Reynolds and his posse took Sailfish City by storm with Captain Alex leading the way for a landmark day of billfish releases.


The highlight was this wonderful Double Sailfish release, expertly coordinated by Mate Kevin in the cockpit.



After the double, the Sailfish got charged up and lined up for their turn to be released.





Great consistent action all day for the Harvester.





They even added some meat for the fishbox with a handful of Yellowfin Tunas:
