Captain Fico finished the month strong with a run of monster days in late June.
These Sailfish have become par for the course onboard the barroom brawler, however the Explorer also scored big on the inshore reef…check out this MONSTER Cubera Snapper:
Larry VerHoff joined Captain Fico on the Explorer for a 5 hour trip to the blue water on June 19. There was a light rain early in the day, but there was also this beautiful Sailfish:
An hour later the skies cleared and a second wonderful Sailfish came calling. More great fish handling by Mate Elias for another safe release.
Captain Fico kept up the consistency on June 13 with angler Christopher Kellogg reporting a swarm of Yellowfin Tuna on ice.
Wendy Salazar brought her family along on June 12, and we’re stoked to report some big smiles and big Yellowfin Tunas.
Great work by the Explorer!
Mike Borrom and his son came down to Nosara for a bit of fishing in mid-June, and on the 10th they nabbed a nice Dorado.
Captain Fico welcomed angler Thomas Ransome for a sweet day of action on June 6.
These 20+lbs. Yellowfin Tunas are indicative of the kind of consistent catches being delivered by the Super Panga.
On the afternoon of the 19th Captain Fico welcomed Kevin Mumphrey and his family for an morning half-day filled with fun action.
Their efforts yielded lots of good filets with a big Cubera Snapper and a nice-sized Yellowfin Tuna on ice.
Great work for just a five hour outing!
Returning FishingNosara Hall of Famer and Aussie legend Ross Boyce added to his legacy with this awesome Rooster Fish release on May 17:
Meghan Mumphrey and Austin Walker kept the good times rolling on the Explorer with a trio of nice Yella Fellas scored on a 5 hour morning trip.
Looks like dinner is served!
The Explorer welcomed angler Thomas Biggs for a quick 5-hr. trip on the 21st, and they score big filets.
This large Tuna was backed up by a healthy 25lbs. Dorado.
