Captain Alex has already infused the new Harvester with his trademark ‘Never Surrender’ attitude and his clients are reaping the rewards.

Our good friend Gary Langfitt brought his daughter along for and offshore shoot out with some super-sized Sailfish and they managed to conquer four of these beauties.

They missed a fifth fish about 20 feet from the boat, but the indomitable Captain Alex will be back for him soon!

Jackie Powell’s final trip of the week was by far the best, with Captain Alex reporting lots of big Sailfish releases.

The bite was so white-hot that they could hardly keep a bait in the water.

After all the safe releases, the group nabbed some end-of-week filets from this nice sized Yellowfin Tuna.

Great work by these fun-loving anglers!

Our great friend Jon Temple brought his son to Nosara to hunt Sailfish, and the Harvester‘s Captain Alex put them on the bite early and often.

After the first release, Mr. Temple got in on the action.

These are beautiful photos of these high-flying brightly colored Pacific Sailfish.

The icing on the cake is the safe release of all these billfish care of Mate Kevin.

Bill Elm had a terrific day with Captain Alex on the Harvester with lots of Sailfish releases backed up by some fat Dorados.

An early Sailfish release about 5 miles from shore set the tone, then the first big Dorados came through the spread.

More rowdy Sailfish came calling in the afternoon, but Bill and the boys were ready for them.

Great fish-handling as always by Mate Kevin.

The Harvester has already shattered expectations and we can’t wait to see what she will do next!

The Harvester had the biggest day of her short career on January 27 with 11 Sailfish releses, including a Triple Hookup / Double release:

What a day for clients Greg Tilley along with Laura and Todd Horton…it certainly didn’t take Captain Alex long to get the Mega Panga dialed in!

Here’s what the clients wrote on Facebook:

“Fishing in Costa Rica is awesome! If you every get the chance…..GO!!!! We doubled up twice and tripled once. Caught a total of 20 sailfish on 30 bites. It takes a pretty good captain to get 3 sailfish to the boat at the same time and released”

“The first triple for thie Harvester. (landed and released all three fish) We also had two doubles (2nd & 3rd for Harvester)and the 1st time getting the 2 fish pictured together. Captain Alex and mate Kevin did an awesome job and I highly recommend them if you ever get to fish in Costa Rica.” – Greg Tilley

“Alex and Kevin are the ticket! Great captain and mate combo! Keep up the good work!” – Todd Horton
