Stanley Green and his buddies knocked in out of the park on the 7th with a massive haul of big Dorados.
The Harvester got on a great run in early-December and Alex’ clients were all smiles.
The Harvester kept up the Yellowfin Tuna action on the 6th with several more nice scores:
They also boated this excellent Dorado:
The Harvester welcomed Julia Thompson and her friends for a fun day of action, punctuated by a nice Dorado score.
Then they found a swarm of tasty football-sized Yellowfin Tunas.
These are the perfect size for firm Ahi steaks.
Great work by Captain Alex and the mega panga Harvester!
Our good friends Patrick and Mike McGoey drove down from Samara for a day trip with Captain Alex, and their adventurous spirit was rewarded with nine nice Dorados and four beefy Yellowfin Tunas.
The Dorados were stacked up like firewood and their hunger led to several multiple hook-ups.
Craig stayed inshore on the 24th and scored two excellent species using live Bonita rigs.
This Cubera Snapper is delightful table fare and should keep everyone fed for the week.
Later in the trip, this Rooster fish managed to hit the hook but miss the Bonita…fortunately the Harvester released this, the dumbest fish on the reef.
Better luck next time, Einstein!
November 23 started a little slow for Craig and the Harvester, but the long morning gave way to an action-packed afternoon.
This 250+lbs. Marlin hit the starboard teaser like a bomb and put up a strong fight. The Harvester prevailed with a sweet release after a 30 minute fight.
Great fish-handling by Captain Alex to see the safe release of this monster.
The Harvester lived up to her name on November 23 with a bunch of Dorados finding their way to the fishboxes.
Everyone got in on the action with catches reported by Captain Alex throughout the day.
The Mahi were so aggressive that this double-hookup turned out to be a singular gluttonous fish.
Great work by Captain Alex and the Harvester!
Captain Alex posted the trip of the season so far with Terry and Julie Edwards’ group loading up the trophy case with excellent releases.
This MASSIVE Blue Marlin was the headliner of the trip.
Shortly after that battle, the mega panga nabbed a wonderful Saifish release.
Team Edwards came inshore to finish the day, and saved the best for last…this Rooster Fish weighed 72lbs. according to the Boca Grip.
The IGFA All-Tackle Record is 114lbs., however the second place fish was 85lbs. This fish caught by the Harvester is close to the old record.
Most impressively, the record fish were in 1960 and 1954 respectively…clearly this size of Rooster Fish have not been seen in more than 5 decades.
Great work by Team Edwards and the mega panga Harvester!
Julie Edwards’ family followed up their big action early in the week with another day of big blue water scores on the 17th
A big Sailfish score started the day off on the right foot, and was then backed-up with lots of nice Dorados.
Great job by Captain Alex and Mate Kevin on the mega panga Harvester.
Captain Alex had a bountiful trip on November 14 with angler Matthew Tolley reeling in multiple nice Sailfish.
These pelagics were lined up like a column of soldiers, keeping Captain Alex and Mr. Tolley busy all day long.
Most importantly, all of these monsters were safely handled and released, due to the care expressed by Mate Wilson and Captain Alex.
It wasn’t all trophy fish releases. Matthew went home with a big bag of fish filets thanks to these delicious Dorados.
Great work by the mega panga Harvester!
