Great work by the Mega Panga Harvester!
Chuck Harris and his Mob had a big day on June 11, with a Double Sailfish releases leading off the day’s catches.
Nice fish handling by Mate Kevin to ensure the safety of both the fishes and the anglers.
The Sailfish strikes stayed strong all day, and Chuck’s Offshore Mafia had the skills to bring them in quickly.
The final release came from our old buddy Rick Blackburn, and was the seventh release of the day.
The Tallahassee Offshore Mafia hit town on the 10th with capo Don Chuck Harris leading the charge on the Harvester.
This large group booked up all of our boats this week and cut a wide swath through the blue water species.
After a few nice Sailfish releases, they rounded out the day with some tasty plate-sized Yellowfin Tunas.
Great way to start the week for these hard-fishin’ Floridians.
Theย Harvester scored a nice Sailfish release with young angler Joseph Guzaldo on June 9:
That’s a heck of a fish for such a young angler!
Eric Dixon continues his habit of catching big billfish on spinning tackle. This time he scored twice in one week on the Harvester.
Look at the workout the Dixon boys are giving to our new Shimano Stella spinners; we weren’t sure how these would hold up to such a fight, but it turns out these are just as tough as our Tiagra conventional reels.
Later in the week Eric struck again, this time with the old reliable Penn Slammer.
Great work by this father and son duo of Colorado anglers!
The Harvester welcomed a super-fun group of Texas anglers for the first of three big days of blue water action on June 4.
Tracey Melnar, Jennifer Felchak-Tagliabue, Donna Trubee, Norman Trubee, and Dave Tagliabue stayed inshore on their first day and scored a beautiful Cubera Snapper.
Safe to say they got dinner filets on ice for the week!
Then they added this wonderful Rooster Fish release later in the day.
Great start to a big week of fishing!
Art and Christine Jones got their week of fishing off to a fast start with the Harvester reporting a swarm of sweet Sailfish releases.
Check out the above-the-water action from these fired-up high-flyers:
After the early run of Sailfish releases they hooked into this meaty Dorado estimated to weigh 30lbs.
With dinner taken care of, the Jones crew went back to trophy fish hunting:
Around mid-day they hooked-up a hunting pair of Sailfish. Mate Kevin did an excellent job to coordinate both fights and ensure safe releases.
They followed up with another double hookup, but this time one spit the hook and escaped.
Art Jones enjoyed a great day on the Harvester, starting with some sweet Sailfish releases.
Later on they boated some nice sized Yellowfin Tunas for the dinner table.
Great work by Captain Alex!
The Harvester is dialed-in and Captain Alex’ clients are reaping the rewards on the mega panga.
Craig Sutton joined the crew for an afternoon offshore and released a bunch of nice Sailfish.
They also nabbed this sweet Cubera Snapper late in the day. Captain Alex has been experimenting with shorter hooks to help land these monsters, and it looks to be paying off.
Sometimes the offshore bite ain’t happening, but the wily Captain Alex is deft enough to move inshore for world-class bottom fishing action.
Client Richard Shultz started out with a whopper of a Cubera Snapper, then scored a trophy-caliber Rooster fish.
Great work by the flexible Harvester!
