The Discovererย took Tim and Taya Macon to the mountaintop of blue water fishing on January 25 as they posted the trip of the year so far.
They scored TWO Blue Marlin releases!
Also they added a Sailfish release…so close to a Grand Slam!

Marcie Buxton reached the mountaintop of blue water fishing on January 22, besting this wonderful Blue Marlin with Captain Alex and theย Harvester.
Fresh off the safe Marlin release, the mega panga squared up for a fight with a monstrous Yellowfin Tuna.
This Dorado rounded out a full scorecard for Team Buxton.

On January 9 theย Harvester delivered a true fish of a lifetime for the Boriack family. Check out this monster Marlin:
The Wanderer nagged a supremely awesome Blue Marlin release with angler Steve Mears’ groupย on January 4.
After the safe release, they followed up with a nice Sailfish release.
They didn’t go home empty-handed, thanks to this sweet Dorado.
Captain William started 2020 with a great double-day of action. In the morning session, Matthew Reinemoย scored a true fish-of-a-lifetime with this Blue Marlin release.
The Wanderer also welcomed Lydia Sniderman’s family for a quick 2.5 hour sunset trip and nagged a trio of Dorados not far from shore.

Theย Explorer and angler Sean Taylor battled a big blue Marlin on the 27th, and this monster put on a show above and below the water.
Amazing work by Captain Fico to wrangle this monster in for a safe release.
We welcomed Hong Kong angler James Zhang for a battle on this side of the Pacific on December 21. He performed beautifully with this super Blue Marlin release:

For what it’s worth, that will be worth 1500 points come tournament time in April. They also brought home dinner with a big Dorado backed up by Yellowfin Tuna.
Theย Explorer posted the trip of the season so far on December 14 with Jim Becker and FishingNosara Northeast Representative Mark Cooney each nagging a Marlin release.
Mark’s fish was a great catch, but Mr. Becker’s Blue Marlin is truly the highlight of the day.
Shane Sheltra’s group got started on the Wandererย with a feisty Blue Marlin release on December 3. It’s amazing to see these big fish flying above the water.
They also scored a Dorado for the dinner table. Excellent work by Master Captain William and the flagshipย Wanderer.
