Great work by the mega panga!
Captain David delivered the fish of a lifetime for angler Robert Oechsner.
This wonderful Rooster Fish was safely released after the photo.
The Harvester took a break from offshore fishing on April 3 in order to stay inside and hunt for Rooster Fish. Check out this excellent release.
Jason Frelich’s group started their week with a BIG Dorado, then scored a swarm of Sailfish releases, and on their final trip scored the biggest Yellowfin Tuna of the season so far.
We can’t undestate how unusual it is to find big Yellowfins this time of year. What a blessing!
Earlier in the trip they scored this wonderful Rooster Fish release inshore.
Amazing job my Mate Wilson, Captain Alex, and the unbeatable Harvester.
Hey Craig,
I was part of the Frelich group that hauled in the 200 lb+ Yellowfin Tuna, which I must say I’m still enjoying. This was our 2nd vacation with Fishing Nosara and you and your team did not disappoint. I just wanted to relay a few things about our stay that really stood out.
This was our first time staying on the Fishing Nosara property, which is beautifully maintained tropical paradise “Paradise Rentals” is a good name, having the cart at our disposal made getting around a breeze. The pool and breakfast area really beautiful, tropical and needed after a long day of reeling in fish.
From the shuttles to and from the airport, to fishing, to anything we wanted was terrific and super punctual with no worries.
We went horse back riding one day, and the tour was fabulous. We had a lunch with the locals and it was delicious.
The fishing. We fished with Alex and Wilson, on the Fishing Nosara Super Panga all 3 days. I must say that Alex has super fish finding radar like a superhero. He is fishing excellence and partnering with Wilson make them a great 1-2 punch. On our 3 days fishing we caught 10 of 11 Sailfish, 28 lb Dorado, a 48 lb Rooster Fish (my prize catch) and fought the mighty 200 lb + Yellowfin for nearly 4 hrs. it made our several other tuna we caught in the 25lb range look like bait. Kudo’s go’s to our mighty fisherwoman “T” who fought the beast for over 2 hrs making the last 2 hrs an easy catch for Robbie her first mate.
Our over all experience with your accommodations, personnel and fishing was 5 star. Thank you again and hope to return soon.
David “Runcle Rave”
Thank you,

Our great friend Vigil Russell fished with Captain David on February 15 turned in one of the most exciting scorecards we’ve ever seen from the Adventurer.
The 23-foot switchblade fought and leader-released a big Blue Marlin, and throughout the day performed several traditional releases of Sailfish.
They also scored a fantastic Rooster Fish release.
This is a triple-serving of world class trophy releases from the smallest boat in the bay…amazing perfomance from Captain David on a sure-fire Hall of Fame day!
The Explorer had a sweet Valentine’s Day with a wonderful Rooster Fish release backed-up with a nice Sailfish release.
Love is in the air, but these love-ly fish are back in the water.
Shane Whealton and his father joined Captain David on the 4th and posted one of the best days in the eight-year history of the Adventurer.
This amazingly large Rooster Fish release was the start of this legendary day, which also yielded one of the biggest Jack Crevalles we have ever caught.
The afternoon was dotted with small Tuna catches, highlighted by a pair of 20lbs. Yellowfin Tunas.
Captain David runs this boat alone (meaning no mate) which means the grisly work of fileting this boatload of fish falls to him.
Amazing haul by the 23-foot inshore assassin Adventurer.
Texas angler Billy Meeks knocked Rooster Fish off the bucket list on February 1.
Captain Fico and Mate Antonio released this beauty shortly after the photo.
Captain Fico delivered the goods for anglers Wendy Oberg and Richard Wenk on the 22nd. They started out with an inauspicious first catch as this bird stole a bait from behind the boat.
After the bird was sefely released, these anglers scored a tasty Yellowfin Tuna for the dinner table.
Then the Explorer moved inshore and captured this lovely Rooster Fish.
Safe released as always. Great work by these Wisconsin-based anglers on a short 5hr. trip.
Mate Wilson of the Harvester loves to fish so much that even on his day off, you can find him scouting around Garza bay.
This juvinile Rooster Fish was caught on light tackle from our 14-foot Transporter, and obviously was released after the photo.
