Captain William welcomed Dan Johnson for blue water battles on December 16. The day started with a healthy Dorado leading to fresh sushi and cold beer for lunch.
Later in the day the flagship nabbed more Dorados backed up by a nice Rooster fish release.
The Harvester stayed close to shore on the 11th as high winds offshore make the blue water unreachable. Captain Alex still delivered the trophy fish goods with this excellent Rooster fish scored by Justin Dukes.
Craig Sutton and our old friend Roche had a wonderful day with Captain Fico which included a monster 75+lbs. Rooster Fish release:
Several sweet Yellowfin Tunas also found their way to the icebox. Great work by the barroom brawler.
Captain Fico and Mate Elias continued their strong fishing into late November, delivering the goods for clients Wayne Estes and Mauri Elledge.
This Rooster Fish release is a true bucket list-worthy monster.
They also brought the kids out for a family trip to the fish market. Great work ninos!
Our new friend Paul Gioguardi scored big on the Harvester with tons of great catches in just five hours of fishing.
This big Rooster fish release was the highlight of the trip, but don’t sleep on these excellent Dorados for the dinner table:
It’s great to see young anglers get on the fish and bring them home.
John Schimkaitis and Jared Cozart struck again on November 16 with Captain Alex reporting a pair of excellent Rooster fish releases backed up by a floor-sweeping Dorado.
Russell Thorsheim was on a roll in mid-November…things went so well for him on the big boats with Sailfish and Dorados that he added a quick afternoon jaunt on the Explorer for some inshore fun.
This monster Rooster Fish may be the fish of the week for Mr. Thorsheim. For the filet bag they added a nice Amberjack.
David Little ended his week of fishing with Captain David with a true fish of a lifetime..this Rooster Fish release is easily north of 70lbs. and is clearly the biggest pez gallo of the season for the FishingNosara team:
They also nabbed several more nice filets for the travel cooler.
Great work by Captain David and the plucky Adventurer.
David Little was back for more on the 12th, this time marking the scorecard with a sweet Rooster fish release.
Also adding an additional Dorado, Mr. Little has show that he knows how to handle a big fish on the line.

These fun-loving anglers also boated a few Dorados for the end-of-week dinner.
