Texas angler Darry Elliott scored a sweet Sailfish release with Captain William on January 17.

This blue water monster was no match for the mighty Wanderer:

In mid-January the Harvester strung together several great results despite the presence of unusually high winds. The catch numbers went down a little but the billfish that were released are all monsters.

After this pair of nice releases the Mega Panga welcome Donald Ladenberger from the Sceptred Isle for a great day of action.

This Royal Navy veteran spun the guns on this Sailfish like the Bismarck, and Mate Kevin was there to play the role of Capt. Shepard.

Later in the week the offshore winds were just too much to bear so Captain Alex stayed inshore and kept the rods bent with Jack Crevalles and Dorados.

The next day the winds relaxed and the Harvester headed offshore for a couple of big Sailfish releases.

By mid-January the conditions were near-perfect, and Captain Alex was champing at the bit to get back into big-time blue water battles.

The day started quickly with two early Sailfish releases.

A third Sailfish hit the hook less than an hour later and once again the Harvester was up for the fight.

After the trophy releases they added a pair of swollen Dorados to the fishbox…pretty much the perfect end to a day on the water!

The Discoverer put together a wonderful trip of trips for Paul and Jon Worthington, scoring a bevy of big Dorados and scoring some sweet Sailfish snatches.

Normally we fixate on the big billfish releases, but the real highlight was the boatload of Doardos that Team Worthington put in the fishboxes.

Look at the girth on these monsters!

Great work by the big battleship Discoverer!

Paul Worthington had another huge day of blue water action on the 12th with a sweet Sailfish release followed up with four big Dorados.

This monster was safe released after the picture, but the same can’t be said for these tasty green beefcakes:

Awesome job by Captain Carlos and the big bad Discoverer!

Big day on the battleship Discoverer for our good friend Paul Worthington.

We’ve endured a few days of offshore winds which forced out clients to stay inshore, but now that the winds have died down the blue water bite has fired up.

Look at this wonderful Sailfish release, flawlessly executed by Mate Juan Carlos:

The Harvester got the New Year off to a great start, scoring big with this stunning 300lbs. Blue Marlin release.

Great fight from Captain Alex and superb fish handling by Mate Kevin to see this wonderful monster released.

Later on they followed up with a great Sailfish release.

The Mega Panga is rocking and rolling for 2017, which spells trouble for big blue water beasties.
The Explorer fished every day during Christmas week, and the barroom brawler peeled off a run of truly world-class results.

This big Striped Marlin caught by client Lance Miller was the highlight of the week for Captain Fico, but they also nabbed a second equally awesome Striped Marlin…great fish handling by Mate Elias saw to the safe release of both billfish.

The super panga also scored this lovely Sailfish release:

With a full slate of trophy releases on the scorecard, Captain Fico also filled the fishbox with these big Dorados.

Great finish to 2016 for the powerful Explorer!
The Wanderer welcomed Jeff Berry and his group for a day of offshore action and scored a pair of big hard-fightin’ Sailfish.

These Canadian anglers conquered these blue water monsters like old pros, and Mate Johnson performed flawlessly in the safe billfish releases.

Jacksonville’s own John Bottko scored some major Sailfish releases on the Wanderer and made sure that all the kids got involved in the action.

After the safe releases they also nabbed some big Dorados for the dinner table.

Doc Hatton, Dennis Shanahan, Fred Lewis and Rick Downing had a great day with huge results on the mega panga Harvester. The day started with a true fish-of-a-lifetime…take a gander at this awesome Blue Marlin:

Great fish handling by Mate Kevin to ensure the safety of both fish and anglers. After the safe release, Captain Alex criss-crossed the area hoping to find more fired-up billfish.

After an hour of trolling a second bad Blue Marlin took the hook.

Another great release by the Mega Panga!

Captain Alex kept his foot on the gas as Team Hatton knocked-out a pair of high-flying Sailfish releases to end the day.

This one broke off the leader right next to the boat, but what an amazing display of above-the-water combat.

This release brought to a close a crazy day of action the the mighty Harvester.
