The Wanderer was back in action with client Dennis Cinquiano enjoying great action with the flagship.

They stayed inshore in the morning and snagged a beautiful Rooster Fish, which was released after the photo.

Around noon Captain William followed a flock of Frigate Birds (also called Marlin Birds) offshore to a boiling bait ball.

In no time the blue beauty was hooked up to a pair of Sailfish.

Great fight coordination and fish handling by First Mate Alex lead to a beautiful Double Sailfish release.

They added a final Sailfish release to end the day:

Excellent work by the mighty Wanderer!

Not saying that we are in cahoots with the fish, but if you buy a FishingNosara hat we might put in a good word for you!

Mike Hartley broke in his new FishingNosara Hat with this sweet Rooster fish release. There are many lures that will tempt a Rooster fish, but none as effective as the ‘new hat lure’

Seriously though, nice work by the Wanderer and Mike Hartley.

Mike Hartley is the latest in a long line of North Carolina anglers to find success on the mighty Wanderer. This great group of CCA NC anglers scored early and often:

Check out this cool shot captured by Captain Carlos on the Explorer:

When things start with a quadruple hook-up, you know you’re in for a crazy day of action.

They scored nine Sailfish releases in total throughout the trip, all safe released by First Mate Alex.

Great performance from these Tar Heel State anglers!
