The Adventurer has seen some great action this month, but we always want to pay special attention to the catches recorded by our young anglers.

This father-son sunset trip on May 3 yielded some nice White Tuna catches (above), and the next day another youngster grabbed himself a sandwich-sized Dorado:

Great work by Fico and the family-friendly Adventurer.

Captain William stayed inshore on a morning half day trip with Scott and Adam Greiner.

The ladies stole the show with some early action on the planer / spoon rig; these Jack Crevalles aren’t great eating fish on their own but these catches were the first stirrings of a feeding frenzy that would see a bunch of tasty White Tunas on the sushi platter.

Our custom Poseidon fishing rods have performed excellently paired with Penn 7500 and 5500 spinners.

White Tuna are amazing on the sushi plate or in the frying pan, and it looks like a good fish fry is going down tonight at the Greiners’ place.

The Wanderer was the classroom for a great bunch of kids getting their first lesson in the blue water marine ecosystem.

Captain William took this family for an up-close look at the inbound Sea Turtle migration to Ostinal.

Later in the evening this little dude scored a nice White Tuna.

Nice way to end the day for the hard-working flagship the Wanderer.

The Adventurer produced excellent results this month with a wide variety of catches. Check out just a sampling of the inshore morsels that the pocket knife pried up thanks to the moxy of Captain Carlos:

This Broomtail Grouper is definitely an exciting addition to the haul.

Yellowfin Tuna, big Dorado, and Wahoo may be offshore species where you come from, but with the nimble Adventurer these fish market scores can be had just 2 miles from the beach.

Of course a staple of our tasty fish rountine is the delectable White Tuna. These fellas rarely top 15lbs, but every ounce is filled with yummy goodness!

Harris Savin finished his fishing adventurer with Captain David on the Explorer, only a special guest was on hand in the mate position: Captain Carlos of the Adventurer.

Carlos started Harris out on this great week of fishing, so it is only fitting that he see Mr. Savin finish strong.

Another day, another five Sailfish!

With this beefy White Tuna thrown in for dinner, I’d say this is the perfect end to a perfect week for Harris Savin!

Harris Savin returned to the Adventurer for another solo mission deep behind the enemy lines of the local blue water fish population.

They targeted trolling species and were rewarded with this whopping 30+ lbs. Wahoo.

Captain Carlos and Harris polished off the sushi just in time to add three tasty White Tunas to the fishbox.

They added a big Dorado to their collected later in the trip, bringing to a close another great fishin’ mission!

Client Louis Quevillin and his boys booked the Explorer for a brief 2.5 hour visit to the blue water, and Captain David kept his Sailfish hot streak alive despite the short fishing hours.

.

They didn’t leave empty handed with this tasty White Tuna on ice as well.

It’s a real treat to see such big smiles from such little anglers; at its best fishing is a family sport and it’s an honor to introduce youngsters to the craft of sportfishing.
