Captain William closed out the month of June with a great run of catches and lots of big smiles for his clients.
This nice Yellowfin Tuna had good size to it and tastes great, while this Dorado…well, it still tastes great.
Sailfish were also on the prowl and with Captain David (of the Adventurer) filling in at the mate position, this big billfish was no match for the mighty flagship.
More great big Yellowfin Tuna catches rounded out the haul as the Wanderer finished off the month with more full fishboxes.
The Harvester bested a massive Yellowfin Tunas on June 27 with angler Tyler Acevedo.
Better still, this monster was caught on just a 5 hour trip.
Great job by Captain Alex!
The Explorer welcomed Jacksonville’s Nathan Stuart for a great day of action on June 27.
Nathan is truly serious about fish. He is the proprietor of the restaurant Seafood Kitchen in Jacksonville Beach, and he won a prize that we offered at the Kingbuster fishing tournament on June 24. Within hours he had booked his trip and was in Nosara ready to catch ’em up.
After several great Sailfish releases, Captain Fico lead this group to a nice bite of Yellowfin Tunas.
Now anyone who knows about the Seafood Kitchen knows that it is a true legend of Jacksonville Beach’s eateries, however we have a legend of our own in Nosara…Chef Maria of Nosara Paradise Rentals visited Nathan’s house to share her Yellowfin Tuna receipes, and these photos look good enough to eat:
Empty plates and empty dished means big smiles all around!
Patrick Anders, Crystal Hearn, John Hearn, and the Keyes Family checked in for the first of several good days of fishing on June 23.
Mate Johnny could barely keep up with the fileting…as soon as he was done with the knife, another nice Yella was on the line.
Captain William reported lots of nice Yellowfin Tuna, most of them caught on ultralight tackle that these Texas anglers brought from home.
Sometimes the fish overcame these feather-weight Trout rods:
But overall these tough-as-nail Texas anglers were up to the task.
Wayne Voswinkel returned to the Wanderer on the 21st, and this time added Dorado to the previous day’s Yellowfin Tuna score.
Great filet variety for the mighty flagship!
The Discoverer brought home the bacon for the Arnold group on June 21. Check out this nice Yellowfin Tuna.
Wayne Voswinkel’s group got a big week of fishing underway on June 20, with the Wanderer scoring a nice Yellowfin Tuna for the dinner table.
They also dug in against a big Blue Marlin, but this monster spit the hooks before we could bring him alongside for a picture.
The Discoverer was back in action in mid-June with this sweet Sailfish release backed up with a nice Yellowfin Tuna.
Great work by Jacksonville angler Meredith Arnold and her crew.
The Discoverer battled meat fish in mid June. On the 11th they nabbed this sweet Dorado.
Then the order of the day was big Yellowfin Tunas on the 12th and this monster is just a sample of the quartet of monsters they scored.
Awesome work by Captain Carlos!
