Nathan Sylvester and his boys scored with the Wanderer reporting a Double Marlin release backed-up by several Sailfish releases:
The simultaneous Marlin hook-up is a whirlwind of action for even the most experienced anglers, but these youngsters handled it like old pros.
Fifteen minutes after the first release came the second; this mystery Marlin is either a small Blue Marlin, a large Striped Marlin, or the rare Hatchet Marlin.
They also scored a pair of Sailfish later in the trip, rounding out a truly memorable day of fishing.
Adam Noviskie and his group got started on April 25 with a productive day of fishing on the Wanderer.
These CCA TX anglers broke the ice with multiple Sailfish releases.
Matt Taylor nabbed a nice pair of Sailfish releases on April 25 with Captain Fico on the Explorer.
Not bad for just a 5-hour trip.
Richard Mumford and Frank Gregg scored the fish of a lifetime with Captain Alex on the Harvester in the form of this 350+lbs. Black Marlin.
Amazing work by Mate Kevin to see to the safe release of this monster after almost two hours of battle.
As an added bonus they also nabbed this Dorado for the dinner table.
The Mega Panga is dialed-in and Captain Alex’ clients are reaping the rewards.
The Explorer powered through April with more great Sailfish releases, including two Double Sailfish releases:
Captain Fico stayed all over this good Sailfish bite with more releases than you can shake a stick at.
Mate Elias is also constantly improving in the cockpit and with the safe releases.

After the trip, our chief technician Marino came out to the Wanderer to replace the livewell pumps, and if you know Marino then you know he could return to shore without getting a hook wet:

Family fun on the Wanderer as John Kwekkeboom brought the whole clan for a fun afternoon of inshore action.
The Penn Slammers were deployed on a wide variety of near-shore species like White Tuna and Jack Crevelle.

Captain Carlos and the Discoverer continue to score consistent billfish action with this nice pair of Sailfish releases on April 21.
Safe releases by Mate Juan Carlos put a perfect point on this excellent day of action.

They also added a small Dorado at the end of the trip for future snacking!
