Javier Perez’ group was sidelined by big winds on the 9th, but they persisted on December with a great Yellowfin Tuna haul.
This big boy was the blue ribbon winner, and was one of several caught by theย Discoverer.
Fishing legend Dan Johnson is back in action, and on the December 6 he was joined by out Guiones Beach neighbor Marlin Bill for a trip on the Wanderer.
Captain William kept the rods bent all day with FOURTEEN Yellowfin Tuna catches on the scorecard.
Theย Wanderer is the gold standard of consistency, and of course Dan Johnson knows what to do when the fish come up in the spread.
PS I am guessing that Marlin Bill’s will have Yellowfin Tunas on the menu this week!

On December 6, Douglas Warmke and Micheal Dall chose theย Harvester and Captain Alex delivered the goods.
A nice Sailfish release was backed up with tasty catches of Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna.

Captain Carlos reports seven nice Yellowfin Tunas on ice, but the real monster of the day was this BIG Dorado.
Looks like everyone will be fed this week!
John Egan helped us bring the first month of the new season to a close on November 27.
This batch of Yellowfin Tuna filets are the perfect end to a great month of offshore action.
John Egan’ group came back for more on November 26. The Discoverer was happy to have them, and delivered a pair of memorable Sailfish releases:
They also piled up a stack of nice Yellowfin Tunas.
Master Captain William is cooking on the Wanderer, and on November 26 he welcomed Dan Oberpiller for a fantastically productive day of offshore fishing.
This fired-up Sailfish release was complimented by several Yellowfin Tunas and a two-handed Dorado.
Craig got hooked up to a 100+lbs. Yellowfin Tuna (on a lure, no less) and lost him just about three feet from the boat.
Sprits returned with a nice Sailfish release backed up with some mortal-sized Yellowfin Tuna.
Ronnie Green returned to theย Harvester on the 25th and continued his streak of great catches. He released a couple of nice Sailfish, including this bright blue beastie:
They also re-upped at the fish market with a nice Dorado backed up by several sweet Yellowfin Tunas.
Greg Keene and his group opted for a 6.5 hour trek with Captain William on November 23. The flagship delivered the goods for these Colorado anglers.
In addition to Sailfish releases, they also boated a bunch of Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados.
