Yellowfin Tuna have started to make their way into our area, and on March 16 the big battleship Discoverer nagged a nice stack of tasty Yella Fellas.

This Jacksonville angling legend made himself at home with a fantastic Sailfish release backed-up by a big Dorado for the dinner table.

The Wanderer hosted a nice family day of fishing on March 15. They kept the rods bent with a lot of White Tunas and Bonitas snatched up near-shore.
With kids, sometimes is best to target easy-to-catch small fish than the big offshore monsters; it’s easier to teach the youngsters proper technique on more a more forgiving quarry.

Normally these fish are in the 8lbs.-15.lbs range…these are true monsters!
