More sweet billfish releases for the Wanderer on February 3!
Captain William has established a sterling reputation for consistency, and he has certainly hit his stride this season.
Late in the day they got this Black Marlin on the line and brought him all the way to the boat for a clean safe release.
Safe releases all around by Mate Johnson ensure that we’ll see more of these awesome monsters again.
Returning angler David Svec knocked out several Sailfish on a full day of action.
Each guy got several shots at Sailfish, with six successful releases on the day.
They also nabbed some big Yellowfin Tuna for the dinner table.
Captain David is a master of inshore fishing, as client Trevor Kennedy can testify after his trip on the Adventurer.
This monster Cubera Snapper was the highlight, and was backed up by a few nice Jack Crevelles.
Jason Smith scored big on the super panga Explorer with several Sailfish released backed up by a meaty Dorado for dinner.
Captain Fico is on a hot streak and his clients are reaping the rewards!
The Wanderer scored a big swath of Sailfish on February 2. These monsters hit the baits right at the start of the day and didn’t stop biting until the sun went down.
We could barely get the baits back out in the water before they got hit again!
Everyone got a crack at these Pacific Sailfish and with each release came another big smile.

They also nabbed a tasty Mahi-Mahi for the fishbox.

Alkis Kourkoulos scored the fish-of-a-lifetime with Captain Fico on January 30. This monstrous Black Marlin was no match for this Clearwater, FL-based angler.

Captain Carlos kept the good times rolling with client Deena Ewert scoring several sweet Sailfish releases.
Later in the day the Discoverer moved inshore and scored this whopping Amberjack:
Remember that Pacific Amberjacks are good to eat (unlike their Atlantic brethren) and I’d bet that some tasty ceviche is in Deena’s future.
Bill Elm had a terrific day with Captain Alex on the Harvester with lots of Sailfish releases backed up by some fat Dorados.
An early Sailfish release about 5 miles from shore set the tone, then the first big Dorados came through the spread.
More rowdy Sailfish came calling in the afternoon, but Bill and the boys were ready for them.
