The Explorer kept up the solid month of pelagic action with this sweet Sailfish release:
Nice work on the live release to ensure the safety of fish and angler alike.
Our great friend Doc Hatton performed wonderfully on back to back fishing days in mid-January.
The first day they were offshore and released several nice Sailfish.
The next day they stayed inshore and scored one of the biggest Cubera Snappers of the year.
With nothing left to prove inshore, Captain William headed offshore following a pod of feeding Dolphins. Not surprisingly, they found more sweet Sailfish.
Ben Evans and Joe Driscoll returned to the Wanderer on the 12th with another great fantastic fishing performance.
They stayed inshore this time and loaded the fish box with gigantic Amberjacks.
Beware of these masked bandits!
They also hooked up a small Shark, released without incident.
On their final day of fishing, they returned to Sailfish City and ended their week with this nice Sailfish release.
These Euros are absolutely amazing on the inshore species…on January 11 Captain David and the Adventurer iced the rare and elusive Congrio:
This hybrid fish/eel yields a white lobster-ish meat that is truly world class. Also they are fun to fight because they can swim backwards.
Later in the day they released a nice Rooster fish.
Another great day for Team de Wit and the Adventurer.
Captain David scored this beauty with the Andre de Wit group on January 10:
The Discoverer welcomed Stephen Ruppert and he scored two big Sailfish backed up by a big-time Wahoo.
These trophy releases were great, but the white-meat steaks of a Wahoo are the real treat for these anglers.
Great work by Captain Fico!
The Andre de Wit team kept rolling with a nice Rooster fish release on the 8th with Captain Fico on the Explorer.
We expect to see this little guy again once he’s all grown up!
Andre de Wit’s group of extreme panga warriors continued their amazing run of inshore action on January 7 with Captain David on the Adventurer.
The early day action consisted of several sweet Rooster fish releases.
The unquestioned highlight of this excursion was this monstrous Queen Snapper:
Andre de Wit’s group has split up between the Adventurer and Explorer to maximize their coverage of the inshore reefs.
Captain David and the Adventurer scored several Snapper and other tasty reef dwellers:
The also boated a big Jack Crevelle and two medium-sized Rooster fish releases:
Great work by the extreme panga fishing tandem and the fearless Andre de Wit group!
