The bite stayed hot in late June with this nice Sailfish release on the 22nd for client James Fleet.
Then two days later client Matt Reed also went on a Sailfish release run:
The mood turned to meat fish on the 26th as part of Norm Ashby’s group nabbed a group of football-sized Yellowfin Tuna:
The boys from Wilde Wood Construction have been hot this whole week, and over on the Harvester this awesome 58lbs. Yellowfin Tuna was boated:

Nice work by the battleship!
Nice Triple Sailfish day for the Discoverer on the 22nd.
Smooth moves by Captain Carlos and Mate Juan Carlos!
Our good buddy Bob Hartin and his family took to the Mega Panga as a school of BIG Yellowfin Tuna swarmed our area, and the crafty Captain Alex was on the scene to mop them up!
Bob scored big fish with us way back in 2012, and it’s good to see his fishing prowess is still top-notch.
They added to the big monster Yellowfin from the morning with a armload of 30-40lbs. Yellas later in the afternoon.
Add to that a nice Sailfish and you got a perfect day of blue water action:
Kim Gill’s group kept the heat up with an excellent second day of fishing on June 21. Big Rooster Fish releases were the first order of the day on this inshore morning.
After the quartet of trophy fish releases, they added to the icebox with a whopper Cubera Snapper
This second bigger fish lived up to it’s name with an attempted SNAP:
All is a day’s work by the Master Captain William!
Heather Frey and her group had a whale of a trip on the Discoverer with four Sailfish released on a five hour trip.
Each of these monster are way over the 100lbs. mark and were quickly conquered by the big battleship.
Safe releases by the incomparable Mate Juan Carlos means that we’ll see these behemoths again soon.
The Harvester welcomed Tuan Pham and his family for a fun day offshore that led to a beautiful Pacific Sailfish release.
Great work by Captain Alex and Mate Kevin on the Mega Panga!
Fun-loving Texans Mary and Scott Kelley joined the Harvester for a fun day offshore and left their mark with this this sweet Sailfish release:
Great job by these Lone Star anglers!
