Jacksonville angler Matt Parks etched his name in FishingNosara lore on June 6 with a pait of Marlin releases backed up with a nice Sailfish release on the Discoverer.










Captain Alex and Hubble Keller’s group scored an amazing Black Marlin release on June 3.









This is Mr. Keller’s second Marlin catch of the week, and was safely released by Captain Alex.



This fired up Sailfish was also a great fight for these Florida anglers.

Newly-minted champion Captain William delvered another victorious trip on the 17th.





His scorecard featured Sailfish and Marlin releases, plus several nice Yellowfin Tunas for the dinner table.

After missing the podium by one fish, Captain Alex responded with the intensity and fervor that make the Harvester the true People’s Champion.



While the other boats were onshore prepping for the after-party, the Harvester struck hard with a wonderful Blue Marlin release.



They also added a big Dorado for the dinner table.





364 days untl the next tournament, and the mega panga is already getting preppared!
Ron Lehman’s family hit it out of the park on April 7. This monster Black Marlin is a true fish-of-a-lifetime for these Connecticut anglers.




The kids got into the action with a pair of sweet-sized Yellowfin Tunas.




Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin are constantly dialing in their tactics. The work paid off with this April 6 Black Marlin release on a morning half day trip.


In the afternoon session, they struck again with a gaggle of Yellowfin Tuna on ice.

Great job by the big battleship.
Master Captain William and the Wanderer delivered a monster Marlin release for Ken Russell on March 26.



What a great accomplishment! The Marlin release was backed-up with three nice Sailfish releases but Misti Nolan, Brenda Russell, and Larry ‘Captain Lorenzo’ Komenda.








For the fishbox they nagged six Yellowfin Tunas.

William Blocher scored TWO fish-of-a-lifetime on March 25 with Captain Fico reporting a pair of Marlin releases.

“Captain Fico put me on the fish straight away,” wrote Bill in an email.








Amazingly, this was on a 5 hour half day trip.


Excellent fish-handling by Mate Antonio to ensure the safe survival of this wonderful.

Also late in the day they hooked up another marlin estimated at 700lbs.-800lbs.

Touched the leader and released. Thought the only photo we have so far is this Bigfoot-esque blurry shot, this fish is a real monster.
The FishingNosara team hit a Marlin dry-spell in the middle of March, but Captain Fico on the Explorer scouted far offshore and found one on the 19th.

The very next day Captain Carlos capitilzed on that intelligence and found a Black Marlin of his own near the same area.



Teamwork makes the dream work, right?
After the Marlin release, Tom Schwaab’s group also scored a Sailfish release and put a few Yellowfin Tunas in the filet bag.





Great work by the big battleship Discoverer.
The Explorer had lots of good catches near-shore in mid March, but on the 19th Captain Fico went way offshore to check on the action 30+ miles out.







His faith was rewarded with this big Black Marlin lurking far offshore.
